Exceptional culinary experiences in Manchester

“Came here for our anniversary meal and it honestly was the best meal we have had! The staff were incredible throughout the night, and whilst we didn’t get their names, the young, blonde lady and the middle aged, olive skinned gentleman who served us a glass of bubbly each were amazing. The food is to die for and trust me you will not be going hungry when you leave. Thank you for making our night an unforgettable experience!”

“Great location. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink in walking distance. Very close to city centre. Couldn’t really be better in that respect. Despite being very busy location didn’t notice any noise. Property itself was exactly as pictured and what we were expecting. Very rustic vibes. Majority of what you would need is provided. Several comments made previously about codes - very clear to follow instructions sent and we had no bother with this. Few points though. Bed wasn’t the comfiest ever. Rather hard mattress. There wasn’t any toilet roll provided which is the first I’ve had that - there is a Sainsbury’s within 2 minute walk. There had clearly been a leak recently in the entrance hallway, which did mean there was some mould growing., with a rather bad smell. Could at times smell in flat especially when heating was on. Of note, there is quite a few stairs - we had no bother but just for people with limited mobility to be conscious of this. Great and proactive host.”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

“Had a lovely meal here last weekend I'm a fussy eater usually so this place was definitely out of my normality but I was on holiday so said let's give it a go, Had the garlic bread as a starter and went for the Margherita as a main, was pleasantly surprised by how delicious both were! Would absolutely have a look if you're in the area , staff are lovely and very personable”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“Very highly recommended. This has to be the nicest Indian meal I’ve had in a very long time. Brilliant service from very helpful, friendly staff, it’s also reasonably priced. Piping hot food that is of a high standard. The portions aren’t too big, but enough to be able to enjoy everything we ordered. The garlic naan is so good, as are the curries. Very clean throughout, including the toilets, which I find incredibly important.”

“Great service, Was a little disappointed at first as what we were served did not look like the image on menu (in relation to size) however was immediately offered more- which resulted in us taking some back home. “Stayed here when I went to a concert in Manchester. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, Levon made me feel welcome. He greeted me with a genuine smile and handled the check-in process quickly and professionally. Even though I had a few special requests, he was patient, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without any hassle. What really stood out to me was how friendly and approachable he was throughout my stay. Whether I needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or help with a small issue in my room, Levon was always available and eager to help. He has a calm, polite manner that instantly puts you at ease. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about the guest experience. My stay felt smooth and stress-free. He’s a real asset to the hotel, and I’ll definitely return — partly because of the great service I received at the front desk.”

Didn’t even spend that much time in the hotel but it had a decent bar, breakfast and pool table downstairs. Excellent location right next to the station and trendy locations in Manchester. Plan on staying in this hotel every time I visit if I can”

“Great service, very friendly. Lovely range of food for all dietary requirements, plus some really healthy options. I had the Shitake Mushroom Ramen which Mohammed made and it was DELICIOUS! Also had the Kombucha to drink which was really nice. I will go again next time I'm in the area.”

“Without a shadow of a doubt, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Visited on a whim last night, booked an hour before they opened and were made to feel welcome immediately. A lovely little place with absolutely fantastic food. I'm not usually the adventurous type when it comes to food, but there wasn't a single thing I didn't finish. I honestly considered licking the plates! Each dish was a masterpiece, and if perfection is lots of little things done right then they nailed it. I cannot recommend the place highly enough, please go and show this little business some support, they truly deserve it.”

“Highly recommended for dog walking and pet sitting. Just moved few months ago, and we´ve been so lucky to came across with Fraser. He is taking care of our two dogs daily for a walk and home sitting them some nights every month. Both of the dogs are rescued and it is not easy to get close to them or gain their confidence and every time they see Fraser they are happy and go to kiss him. He is got a natural affinity with dogs. He is organised and friendly and keeps communication regular which made our first days leaving them easier for us. One of the times I was away and he was pet sitting them they went stomach sick and he looked after them while keeping me updated with everything. So always know they are in safe hands with Fraser. We get peace of mind leaving our dogs with him as we know that he really cares about them.”

“Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. “Despite being really busy our sever took time to chat and recommend dishes. We had Tarragon Chicken and Lemon and chilli chicken with spicy rice. Dishes were full of flavour. We would eat there again.”

“Been wanting to go here since they opened, finally got a table. Heard and read great things about this place. I can see now why it's got such high praise and why it's worth waiting to get a booking. From the moment we entered the place was so inviting, the service was excellent. As for the food it was incredible, not one bad course, I opted for the extra course of pheasant, which I'm so glad I did it was one of my favourites. I've been to quite a few tasting menus and this was up there as one of my favourites. The place has a lovely homely family vibe, the chef/owner came out and chatted to us about one of the courses and we ended up chatting for a little, really nice guy. This is such an amazing addition to Urmston and deserves all the success. Get booked in and you won't be disappointed. We will be returning for the next convenient available slot. Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is incredible we went on Sunday for there Sunday roast and it was amazing, every element was off the scale. I'd go for the three courses as the portions aren't huge but well balanced.”
