As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things don’t go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. “Stayed just the one night but you could easily stay here for a few days. The room we had was on the 19th floor so super quiet without any noise from outside. Top quality SMEG appliances. Kettle, toaster, hot plate and microwave plus dishwasher. They also have a laundry department which you can use for longer stays. Lovely bed linen and comfortable bed. Just loved the rain shower which was powerful and as hot as you wanted it to be. Gorgeous bathroom products too. Just a perfect quick overnight but you could base yourself here if you had to work in Manchester for a few days.”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. A credit to the “HI Man Airport” team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms … have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra £30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress … thanks Holiday Inn!”

“I spent a lovely 3 nights here whilst I was in Manchester for a school reunion. The hotel is in a good location and close to the station with direct trains to Manchester airport. The room was excellent with plenty of space and a great view. It was very clean and well serviced every day. A bonus was the fridge and selection of drinks. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. I would like to give a big thank you to the guys in the bar, Cameron, Lennox and Eden for making the most amazing cocktails and for being very hospitable hosts. In fact all the restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the cold plates for the cooked breakfast, but the great coffee and pastries did make up for it.”

There is a healthy competition that results in the growth of oneself as well as everyone around him. They molded me into a tough, competitive and a highly skilled individual. It was a fantastic learning curve and they instilled in me the fighting footballing brain. The knowledge gained was immense and that gave me a tremendous amount of self confidence. The training sessions were such fun that I miss them every single day since I left MIFA. If given an opportunity, I would love to go back there not just because of football, but because MIFA is a family.”
