“Me and my daughter called in for some lunch yesterday Fri 25th April. What can I say. Fabulous service and food was delicious and generous portions. I had black pudding bon bons to start and cheese and onion pie which came with chunky chips and a side pot of beans. My daughter had halloumi fries to start and a burger as her main. We were both very full after this . So didnt get chance to try the desserts . Food was hot and freshly made. Service was brilliant excellent staff . Will definitely be calling in again and would highly recommend.”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“Perfect location for T2 … across the road, 2 minute walk and within a short 5 minute journey on the free shuttle bus to the excellent drop and go parking service A special mention to Lauren part of the Holiday Inn reception team who was very efficient, friendly and provided a first class service! A credit to the “HI Man Airport” team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms … have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra £30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress … thanks Holiday Inn!”

“Staying at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly was a fantastic experience! Raj, Kostia, and Ellie at the front desk were truly outstanding—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly efficient. From arrival to departure, everything was handled smoothly and with a genuine smile. The reception team made every interaction pleasant and easy, always ready with helpful information and quick solutions. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with rooms that are tidy, comfortable, and hygienic. Overall, a wonderful stay made even better by the professionalism and warmth of the front desk team! this”

“We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Marriott AC Hotel. The food was fresh and well presented, but what made it truly special was the service. Siraj and Meesha were both outstanding — friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. They made sure we had everything we needed and added such a warm touch to the morning. “I spent a lovely 3 nights here whilst I was in Manchester for a school reunion. The hotel is in a good location and close to the station with direct trains to Manchester airport. The room was excellent with plenty of space and a great view. It was very clean and well serviced every day. A bonus was the fridge and selection of drinks. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. I would like to give a big thank you to the guys in the bar, Cameron, Lennox and Eden for making the most amazing cocktails and for being very hospitable hosts. In fact all the restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the cold plates for the cooked breakfast, but the great coffee and pastries did make up for it.”

“Really impressed with Cornerstones Guest House. Ahmed was excellent in communicating the keylock code and instructions. We were able to park the car and walk 15 mins to Sale Metrolink tram stop in Sale. The room was perfect for us (dad and lad) with a double and a single bed. A nice window for fresh air and the shower was hot. We stayed Saturday and went to Old Trafford for the Manchester United match on the Sunday. Would recommend.”

“We booked this hotel for Billy Eilish concert. When we booked ourselves in they told us that they were giving us a free upgrade to their best room. Well the room was amazing. It had a dressing room area, dining and kitchen area and a stunning shower room. There was also a spiral staircase. At the top was a table for two with fantastic views of the city. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, hob, fridge and a dishwasher. There was also a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, a safe and somewhere to hang your clothes. There was a complimentary bottle of water and crisps popcorn. Basically the room had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and friendly and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Roomzzz you were amazing x”

“The apartment was very clean, facilities were fantastic as was the whole hotel, the staff on reception were always cheerful and pleased to see you. Location was exactly what we wanted as we arrived by train, the city centre was five minutes away by foot.”

“Excellent food and service. Steaks were delicious. And the chips were really nice. Just one slight bug bear. They automatically added the service charge to the bill. So if you don't want to pay their service charge you have to tell them to take it off and then pay your own service charge. Surely the point of a service charge, or tip is that the customer gets to decide what they want to pay depending on the service they've had.”

“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

“If you're looking for some delicious and authentic Italian street food in Manchester Arndale, then Wolf is the place to be. They offer a variety of options including wraps, salads, and pizzas. I've tried their pizza and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!”

Revisited in April 2022, the updated menu just keeps on getting better, plenty of plant based options if you have non-meat eaters in your party. “Wagamama at The Trafford Centre is exactly what you expect, and that’s a compliment! The energy here is infectious—it’s busy, as is expected in such a massive and popular shopping centre, but the team handles it brilliantly. We experienced fast, efficient service despite the crowds, which is a testament to the staff and management. Most importantly, the food is, as always, amazing and consistently tasty. They deliver on their promise of fresh, delicious Asian-inspired food every time. If you need a reliable, quick, and satisfying meal while shopping, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!”

“Extremely friendly, smiley and helpful staff. A very warm welcome as I walked through the door. Clean, modern premises with Japanese style lucky cat artwork. A quiet, but slightly echoing atmosphere with background music that isn’t too loud and is quite mellow. Unagi Don: very sticky rice, rich and sweet sauce, flaky eel. Very tasty. Miso soup: well flavoured with a decent amount of seaweed and tofu. Chicken Karaage: succulent and very flavourful. Drunken Noodle with King Prawns, Shrimp, Mussels and Squid: The flat noodles were quite soft and easily breakable, but full of flavour and sauce which coated the seafood and vegetables very well. Dorayaki: not too sweet. A satisfying, no fuss, light dessert and the addition of chocolate sauce is a very complimentary flavour. Overall: a fair sized portion of good food at a reasonable price.”

“We went on a Sunday afternoon and had the all you can eat buffet. The food is very tasty and the quality is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. For £14.95 the buffet is excellent value for money. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.”

“BBQ’D is honestly the best steakhouse in town! The food is amazing — my steak was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavour, with great sides to match. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always checking in to make sure everything’s spot on. The place has such a nice, relaxed vibe, perfect for family dinners or a night out with friends and famliy. You can tell they really care about quality and service — definitely my go-to spot for a good meal!”
