“Took our 14 weeks old puppy to find a suitable harness because he pulls too much on the lead. Was looked after by Nicola who seemed to have an encyclopaedic knowledge on the subject. Plus she had the skill to handle our boisterous puppy. We walked away with a suitable harness - happy dog owners and a relaxed puppy. The shop also holds a free puppy get together every Saturday which is great fun. The shop has been a great discovery. :)”

“We love it at The Hale Pizza Express. We come on a weekly basis knowing we will be warmly greeted by Massimo. The food is always perfect and tweaked to our liking. It’s a nice touch knowing our order and having personal conversation. Couldn’t recommend Massimo and his team of friendly waiters and top notch pizza chefs enough. 6 stars”

“I attended a little bambino pizza making event in the summer holidays with my son and was impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. My son had a great time kneading the dough and preparing his own pizza. He was very proud of the finished pizza. It was a wonderful afternoon and amazing value for money. The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food — we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!”

“I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

“This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“Originally my partner and I called in for a ‘nosey’ as we love mid century/ Scandi design. What a great find…Tons of great stuff, vintage and new a real super stylish mix. Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. We also bought a super chic throw which had a great discount so a total win win. Next time we’ll probably will start our furnishing adventures in this spot. Thank you”

“I've been here twice, absolutely amazing food both times. The first time I got the Turkish eggs which were amazingly delicious with nice soft bread served alongside. The second time I got a lunch dish, the black garlic gnocchi with artichokes. It was absolutely delicious. I hadn't expected that much flavour from a vegetarian dish but it was mind-blowing from the first bite. Chef Emily and Chef Danny are geniuses in the kitchen, I've never had food so good before! Service was brilliant, my server Grace was so friendly and I didn't have to wait for a seat either time. The restaurant is quite busy because the food is so good, but if you do have to wait it's well worth it. I'll definitely be back for more, the food was worth every penny.”
