“Friendly and helpful staff on site at Heywood. Went in on Monday to buy a crate of paving stones, expecting to have to either get them back to Bolton ourselves (and risk breaking some in transit) or pay a big delivery fee and have to wait a couple of weeks but nope! They offered us free delivery and they have just arrived two days later (Wednesday)! Delivery driver really nice guy too, ringing before he arrived and took less than five minutes to deliver them safely over a high wall in a back street. Brilliant service, thank you!”

“Ordered online went with my partner to pick up wooden sleepers. Office staff friendly gave me a ticket, went outside with the yard guy, and he was brilliant. He helped me load the sleepers and had a good chat about football. I was dreading going. I've had a few bad experience in builders' yards, but they make you feel comfortable, and the products were cheap.”

“We needed a new kitchen as ours had been in since 1995 We saw Wren had offers on so made an appointment to get started. We had a few appointments to select the kitchen that we wanted also for the measuring up. We chose a lovely cashmere colour for the units which we are really pleased with. The fitter came and gave us an estate as to how much it would cost to fit it all again we were pleased with the estimate. The work took longer than expected due to 2 items which were damaged and we had to wait a week for replacements The replacements arrived on time but had to wait for the fitter to come back as he was doing another job. He did what he could but then he didn't have enough up stand so again we had to order some and that was another week. We are very pleased with the kitchen and all 6 new appliances and the flooring We would recommend Wren”

“I am a retail customer, not a tradesperson. I called into TP Urmston looking for some information on types of brick. Was helped by Paul, who offered his advice unprompted, but very welcome. He immediately called up our house on ‘street view’ in order to give his opinion on what type of bricks may suit, proactive and effective. He then described various examples that they had on display and finally gave us some product samples to use. I was really impressed with how he handled this, as even though no direct sale was forthcoming, he was prepared to spend 15 minutes to help me and my wife understand a little bit more about what is available and which brick styles to consider. This is top class customer service and I hope to be able to direct business to them if I can. A big firm, but a local business.”
