“Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”

“Had a lovely experience at the village cafe today, was greeted by the lovely waitress ella who seated us immediately alll the staff were so lovely and there was no wait with our food, which tasted absolutely amazing i ordered the Breakfast wrap which was absolutely delicious and the smoothie was so yummy. So impressed with the team here!”

The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food — we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!”

“Nice little café which is pretty hidden away. The full English breakfast is very good, and the Spicy Chicken Mix is very tasty. The Wo Tiep dumplings are delicious, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Originally my partner and I called in for a ‘nosey’ as we love mid century/ Scandi design. What a great find…Tons of great stuff, vintage and new a real super stylish mix. Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. We also bought a super chic throw which had a great discount so a total win win. Next time we’ll probably will start our furnishing adventures in this spot. Thank you”

“I visited after a funeral and it is a little gem hidden away. The outdoors is stunning and inside very warm and cosy, great food and drink and I would love to have this as my local, but I'm a fair distance away.”

“This is a little gem of a park. It is small but wonderful. There is a lovely little cafe it really good value for money as well. We got three meals (toasties and jacket potatoes) three drinks and a toasted teacakes and it was just over £20. The food was lovely. We had a walk round the lake and park. Fully wheelchair accessible too. Parking is street parking but we had no issues. We went on a Sunday. Will be going back agaon”

“Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. All food was excellent. Special mention to the girls waiting on, who were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.”

“I was suddenly diagnosed with pneumonia and I couldn't get to the Pharmacy. Thackers sent my prescription to my door, no issues. Mr Thacker is a real gentleman whom I have known since he was at Spark Road. Reliable, ethical, and kind. The best.”

“Really lovely pub with a restaurant feel in the main dining area, and a super dog-friendly dining experience in the Garden Room. Our server, Charlotte, was very friendly and attentive. Really appreciated the card on our table, wishing our Mum a happy birthday, along with a complimentary drink. Only downside was the dreadful smell from drains in the ladies. Will definitely return.”

“This is one of those shops you nip in to buy a couple of things and you come out with a full basket. It is amazing I absolutely loved it, everything for the home and more. It also a cafe which is very nice and the staff are really polite and friendly. The store itself is well lit, clean and it is easy to find everything you are looking for. In fact I found more than I was actually looking for but that is just a bonus. Well worth a visit and I will definitely visit again.”

“Really lovely pub and friendly, helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. We came in soaking wet after a football game, and the guy behind the bar was extremely welcoming. “Visited for dinner, we both wanted the pie and chips, no pies left., We then chose fish and chips and they had to check if they had fish. We were about to leave, but they had two left. The food arrived and we were pleased either the good, fish was excellent, large, chunky fish and good batter. The pub was a bit smelly, tables very sticky. Toilets really clean and tidy. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon. The pub is next to the golf course, with a great view. The pub could be so much nicer and it would increase footfall from golfers too.”

“A lot of people will disagree with this as the reputation of the Navigation Hotel is not great, but having just returned from an early afternoon meal there, I have to say it was excellent. The food can't be faulted, it's not haute cuisine, but good pub grub, with some nice options on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I much prefer it here to many other places that are more popular. Prices are very low, the fact that there are no cask beers is a little disappointing, but I was there to eat, and the John Smith's is adequate. Yes there are screens showing football, but it was not overwhelming and it wasn't full of drunken fans. I would certainly recommend the Navigation and will be back soon.”

George and Dragon has added great value to the Altrincham community and will very much missed. Many great memories inside there!”
