“A decent-sized music venue in a very nice area of Manchester. Lots of surrounding bars and restaurants to go to before your gig. The venue was well-run, clean and the sound quality was good. Some of the upstairs area is quite awkward to find a good view from but the layout is quirky. Plenty of nearby parking options make it accessible to those travelling to the concert too.”

“Cannot recommend this beautiful venue highly enough. We chose by chance ahd couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left 3 days later the staff and owners were nothing less than perfect hosts. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was simply incredible, the venue is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so peaceful and chilled. Our room was stylish, beautifully furnished and comfortable. “We had a wonderful stay at Dakota Hotel Manchester and it truly felt like a pure luxury experience from start to finish. The decor throughout the hotel is absolutely stunning, elegant, modern, and beautifully finished, giving the whole place a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. The bar area in particular was a lovely place to relax, with an impressive selection of cocktails and a refined ambience. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It is only about a six minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, which made getting in and out of the city completely effortless. Overall, Dakota Hotel Manchester delivers a true five star experience. Luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, fantastic food, and a perfect central location, we could not have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.”

“Our families have used The Hinton Guest House a few times for their stays when visiting us in the area, and it has always been a fantastic choice. Most recently, my parents stayed for 7 nights in December 2024, and once again, the experience was excellent. Ann has consistently been extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process straightforward and stress-free. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set this guest house apart. The guest house is in a central position in Mobberley village, making it incredibly convenient. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk to the Coop mini market, the local pharmacy, and a bus station with routes to Knutsford, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, and Altrincham. Additionally, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the local pubs, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms and premises are always spotless, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast service is a highlight—the food is cooked to perfection, and the service is attentive and friendly. We’re so fortunate to have such a reliable and high-quality accommodation nearby. “We had our son's 11th birthday party here recently, and it was a great experience - it's such good value, especially the bowling time, the arcade games and the food is lovely. Aleina in particular was a wonderful host who took really good care of us all. This is the third year in a row we've had birthday parties at the Light, and it never disappoints!”

“Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “My compliments to Richard for being so approachable and friendly. He was attentive and interactive as well with the tables. Food is pretty good for a station eatery. Also a good variety of beers available on tap too. For me, it has to be Guiness on tap when in the UK. It’s been 20 years since I had one. Perfect!!”

“Eaten from the normal menu loads via takeout/online ordering, but today we ate in and had the breakfast. Tried the Morning Glory - hands down best breakfast menu item I've ever eaten, along with a brilliant brew (I want to buy one of those mugs!) and lovely atmosphere. Service was top notch, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more brunches and sandwiches.”

“29/07/23: spent a lot of time in Chorlton Green as a kid, but this is my first time here with wife and dog. A great combo. Good bar, small choice of craft ale but fantastic atmosphere, great view, friendly staff. Could be in some sunny Europeans bar!! Definitely worth a visit!! Ordered the Picasso Box for food from Truth Box Kitchen. Was great and filling! Chicken strips, mac n cheese, fries, corn on the cob, chicken wings!”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! We will be back!!!”

“Been to a few gatherings there such as a christening,wedding reception and a funeral. Brilliant place and all the staff are very friendly. Fully recommend this place for either a family gathering or if you’re out around tyldesley then nip in for a drink.”

“Lit up from the outside this venue is very welcoming. Soft ambient lighting indoors always gives a romantic feel drawing you to go inside. Also the promise of 2 for 1 cocktails might have something to do with it. I have eaten here a few times now and it lived up to expectations in every way. Inside the lighting does seem quite dim but adds to the atmosphere and the decor is rustic Caribbean and this makes you imagine you are in a different country. Everything is brightly coloured and fun. I have been fortunate enough never to have to book in advance but have seen it both very busy and also quite at other times. The table sauces look scary hot but do compliment the food incredibly. Even the toilets represent a beach hut feel. Food has never been fast to come out no matter how busy it is but worth the wait when it does. Also Jamaican Red Stripe lager on tap for as true Caribbean feel. Did I mention the cocktails. Food wise I have tried the Jerk chicken breast and half Jerk chicken. Both made with ghost chilli pepper sauce. Yes it's hot but you can still taste the flavours. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“We have got used to the Sunday roast here, a quality of food and presentation far exceeding a pub meal. So last night we joined friends for a Christmas dinner. A full traditional Christmas meal was presented, thick slices of turkey, pigs in blankets, toasties, parsnips, carrots and a smooth dark gravy. This was a Christmas dinner to remember, absolutely spot on. Many thanks.”
