“I had a great stay here. The bathroom was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was really nice. I asked for cheese to have for breakfast and they brought me some. The breakfast basket they provided contained some nice items. I had a one day stay for business. Booking was through our corporate system. I managed to park on premises, no issues as the site is safe. Upon leaving they requested payment, I mentioned that the corporate booking company would settle, and offered to leave my details in case of issues, they appreciated this. No problems whatsoever. I'd definitely stay again when visiting Manchester for business. If there's one thing I would like them to improve is the breakfast offering. There's a fridge in the room, please offer slices of cold cuts such as cheese and ham along with bread and butter, you don't need to leave these items in the fridge for every guest but I do believe you should have them on demand if requested. I was provided two small blocks of cheese rather than slices, I was happy to have the cheese but I was unable to have a "proper" breakfast sandwich of buttered bread with cheese and ham slices... a chunky block of cheese does not taste very good in the middle of a huge piece of bread.”

“Booked numerous holidays with Kay, never had a bad holiday yet! Just returned from Palma after a 3 day jolly with two friends. Hotel was in a perfect location and was clean with great facilities and staff just as helpful. Definitely recommend anyone to book a holiday with H D Travel.”

“I had a beautiful morning exploring the gardens at Tatton Park. It’s free for RHS members. But be warned that you need to pay £10 to park the car regardless of whether you visit any of the attractions. There’s toilets in the courtyard alongside a garden shop, cafe, gift shop, and bookshop. The gardens were looking great as we venture into autumn. There’s some beautiful dahlias still flowering and creating a wonderful display. Plenty of ripening apples and pears! Must be a fantastic season this year!! Lots of areas to wander in peace. The grounds are serene and as I was there at 10, there was hardly a soul! So plenty of beautiful photo opportunities!!”

“Impressed with the layout & especially the interactivity for children. Although this is a great piece of history. It is also a great day out with river walks, canal walks, boat rides countryside & woodland walks. Large carpark. Easy access even for a motorhome (well upto 7m any way) sadly no overnight parking to extend your stay to enjoy the nearby pubs. Definitely worth a visit and next time we'll bring the grandkids.”

“Absolutely amazing! So close to the train station which obviously is so nice We stayed in room 6. The room was lovely and clean, excellent variety in tea tray (oat milk option as well!) and still very spacious, especially for a budget option! Couldn’t have been more happy! Manager who gave us the keys was so friendly and nice. All in all amazing stay! Lovely to have the shower in the room as well (came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was all very good quality and smelt vvv nice) Couldn’t have asked for better! Even came with ear plugs but we had no issues with any noise :) thank you so much!”

“We love coming here for the hot pot! We spend a few hours chatting, eating and drinking tea and always have a great time! The soup is flavourful and the options are very good! Lots of fresh vegetables and meats - The staff are always very nice and attentive and the manager/owner is great! I reached my personal best of a measly 11 plates and my partner almost got on the leader board with her 37 plates! ( she's going to try again at Christmas!)”

“Visited this place as the reviews on Google looked amazing. We arrived for brunch and we were greeted with a very friendly member of staff. The place was about 10% full, which was great for us! This place has a good selection of breakfast/brunch options, as well as many savoury, desserts, ice cream flavours and hot/cold drink options. I eat vegetarian, vegan and halal food. this place is 100% halal. We got the Berries, Pancake Stack, Turmeric Latte, Brioche French Toast and an Iced Latte. We did have to wait long for our order, however it was well worth it. The berries pancake stack that I had Was deliciously light and airy. I could tell it was made fresh. The menu did not mention the addition of chocolate sauce on the pancakes, however I wasn’t fussed about this. It was actually a nice addition to the dish. The turmeric latte was also tasty, and made me feel nice and warm. As turmeric does not properly mix properly with liquid, there was some turmeric left at the bottom of the mug, however I didn’t mind this. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this place and I highly recommend it to friends, couples and families!”

“This was a last minute booking for my elderly parents. The website interface was very user friendly and they quickly assisted when Gmail junked their confirmation email. The driver was on time and made the pick up smoothly all the while communicating with both me and my parents, keeping me updated when he picked them up and when he got them home safely. Thanks. And all round excellent experience. Recommended.”

“We had our Ruby Wedding celebration in the same place we were married, exactly 40 years to the date, Statham Lodge. As always, the venue, food and service were excellent. Thanks to Daisy Kate for the musical entertainment, it made a special day even better especially when she duetted with our son Nathan. “My recent restaurant visit was a truly delightful experience. I kicked things off with a wonderfully decadent chocolate gelato, which was rich and incredibly satisfying. To drink, I had a crisp Sprite, a refreshing choice that perfectly cut through the sweetness of the dessert. For an appetizer, I enjoyed some soft and flavorful focaccia bread, served with classic balsamic vinegar and fragrant garlic oil for dipping. Beyond the enjoyable food, the staff truly stood out. James was my server, and he was incredibly kind and polite throughout the evening. We had such a funny and engaging conversation, full of laughter and interesting banter. And a huge shout-out to Kelly, who was the chef! It's always great to know who's behind the delicious food, and it certainly tasted like it was made with skill and passion. Their warm personalities really enhanced the atmosphere and made the meal even more memorable. I'm truly grateful to both James and Kelly for such a pleasant and entertaining evening.”

From the friendly leasing office staff to the efficient maintenance team, every interaction was positive and professional. The entire concierge team, of Monika, Precious, Jon and I'm forgetting the name of the other bloke (sorry), were also part reason why I extended by contract by 6 more months. “We stayed in room 214, room was clean a bit on the small side,bedding and towels were clean, bed was firm and the pillows were very firm,not much of a view, we had 4 pidgeons keep in us company outside the window,we didn’t get a good nights sleep because the thermostat which was next to the bed kept clicking all night, quite loudly so we didn’t get much sleep. The soap hadn’t been re filled in the shower, we asked at reception and it was filled, staff very pleasant but overall well worth the money”

“We had a minibus for the airport run from Hadfield and again on the way home. We were travelling with 2 young children and needed our child seat for the youngest. Both drivers were excellent; friendly, helpful, patient and professional making both journeys stress free. Would definitely recommend them. Thanks GTS for great service.”
