“I only add reviews when I strongly feel the need to share - i cant lie and say that i have always had a great service at monarch but i have been really impressed recently with the service i have been receiving and thats down to 2 of the team - Dr Nisha and Nurse Ruth!! What an absolute pleasure it has been to have had Dr Nisha for my recent consultations, she is the first Dr in years to actually listen and make me feel heard!! I will not be seeing anyone else! And likewise for Ruth she listens, is friendly, and always a pleasure to see, she always makes my day! Please do not let either of these amazing women leave!! The reception staff are always lovely too!”

“I took my son to Middleton Pharmacy last night and the two members of staff were really friendly. The chap looking at my son was really helpful, took his time to ask lots of questions and gave lots of helpful advice. My son is 5 years old and was a little tired and impatient but the chap was so patient with him and it was a trip well worth making. Glad that I won’t need to waste an hour on the phone at 8am on Monday morning trying to get a GP appointment. Looking at the previous reviews, we didn’t experience any of the negativity others have experienced.”

“We have been registered here for 4 years, and especially for children, we are usually able to get appointments on the same day. For adults, appointments may take a bit longer, but overall, things move quickly compared to the rest of the UK. Everyone is very friendly and organized. Although we have experienced occasional issues, we are generally very satisfied. Thank you to the entire team.”

“There’s a lot of entitled people complaining that it takes ages to get their medication. Yes it can take 45 mins or so but this pharmacy serves the MRI, Childrens Hospital, St Narys, the eye hospital, Octogon house and more. Remember, before complaining that YOU are not the only patient. The staff have always been friendly with me, I’ve never waited more than 45 mins and never had any concerns. I’m guessing that the people who are moaning about the staff being slow etc. Have probably never worked and are on benefits.”

“Using the online form, I sent my request through to the surgery in the morning. Within 4 hours I had a face to face appointment with Dr Rajab. She was professional, thorough and caring and the appointment was on time, give or take 5 minutes. The receptionist was efficient and pleasent on the phone. On arrival, I booked myself in using the (now fixed) booking screen. The surgery is always clean and tidy and offers free water if needed. And, there’s a car park on the doorstep!”
