“Amazing care for me and my wife recently for the birth of our first child. Every midwife, carer, student mid wife could not of been better. We had a midwife with us every minute of the 30 hour labour and eventually ended up with a caesarean and every member of staff was amazing and care couldn’t have been better. Yes it’s the nhs it’s underfunded and under-appreciated but couldn’t fault our experience.”

All I can say is the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and hello and immediately you feel it’s a lovely place . You got the feeling from the staff I saw it was definitely a happy place to work and the place was so clean , airy and plenty of seating . Thank you to the Nurse you gave me a blood test .. I wasn’t rushed and she really made me feel at ease and such professionalism and care . Thank you . You can always tell immediately when it’s a happy place to work in a credit to all the staff working there .”

“We were visiting from the States. My 1 year old had a very bad seizure. She was taken to this hospital by ambulance. The care we received was ABOVE AND BEYOND what I would have expected, even back home. The entire staff was AMAZING! THANK YOU! She was admitted for 2 days and they did everything possible to care for her and help us through this difficult time. We are now home and couldn't ask for a better hospital to care for her during this terrifying ordeal.”

“I personally hate to visit the Doctor. I was at Weston Favell Surgery for years. Without going into detail.. The difference between the two woodview Medical centre and Weston Favell surgery is day & night. At woodview everyone gets an appointment. And is treated with respect. It's extremely clean, has a car park behind. None of the Doctors are rude. Infact the very opposite. Never in my life have I experienced such prompt action to deal with a medical issue. When previously just sorry call back tomorrow. I have several occasions that stick in my mind. Where I was left without blood pressure tablets in Weston Favell. Wife found me collapsed in the kitchen. Only for our fantastic Abundance Service I am still here. Another, my wife caught me early. Weston Favell Surgery refused to give appointment. Told call tomorrow. A&E was packed.. So the only place who would take me was a drop in centre in Corby. I ended up in a bed there for around 6 hours given medication. After that when I decided to go abroad. But registering at a different Surgery. I never thought this Woodview Medical centre wouldn't operate any different. Until a few weeks ago. Kidney stones. Totally different attitude from Reception. Totally different attitude from Doctors. Totally Different attitude from the Nurse. You actually feel welcome too. Not like, you shouldn't be here like I previously felt like. Amazing service.The Very Best Doctors. The very best Nurse. Amazing Staff on Reception. If I could rate this Woodview Medical Centre higher than 5 Star I really would.”

Always making sure he was comfortable, out of pain and if he needed anything. When my sisters and I visited they even got us a chair to make us comfortable while we were visiting. “I have this week been sent to Kettering General Hospital A&E by my GP, although it was busy and getting busier all the time I was seen quickly by a triage nurse and sent on for various tests that resulted in me spending the night in the CCU. The following day I was given various proceedures and eventually discharged late in the afternoon.During the time I was there I witnessed professional, caring staff doing their best to care for their patients and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the care I was given. Kettering and the surrounding towns have grown enormously in the fifty plus years since we moved here, if there is a problem with our locaal NHS it is not with the staff, but with the funding that has not kept pace with that growth.”
