“Popped in as we was in the area. First impressions were good, we found a table and menu's bought over to us. They then asked if we wanted a drink while we decided what to eat. They took our food options. About a 5 minute wait which is great. Food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. I had a chicken burger with hash brown and bacon, with lettuce. Hubby went for a big breakfast. (I sampled a few fries too) Coffee and a can of coke.”

“I enjoyed a great breakfast and americano. The carrot cake which I took on my walk was amazing, baked by the owners wife I am told, and both the owner and the young looking (private joke) young Scottish lady were very nice and polite. I will definitely come back.”

“What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

“This was our first experience at Cromwell Cottage. We enjoyed everything about our time here. Our food was cooked perfectly for us - hot, fresh & the steaks to our preference. Staff were attentive, professional, friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Atmosphere was relaxed & happy. “This is a lovely little cafe which is extremely reasonable with a large menu. It's a great choice of food and everytime I've been the food has been really nice and well cooked. They do prefer cash but will happily take card payments too. Always a treat to visit the Pumphouse.”

“Wanted to try a new coffee shop after our swim in Flitwick and heard very good things about Surfin Cafe. It did not disappoint! Lovely setting, coffee, food. Amazing music too! Sipping my drink to realise I was listening to Pink Floyd and The Smiths, topped off an already excellent experience. Personally greeted by the owner or maybe manager, not too sure but a thick Scottish accent was a nice touch. I would thoroughly recommend!”

Tried a few different dishes across a number of visits and it's always been fantastic, always busy with takeaway and dining in custom and worth it every single time!
