“We had a table for nine people with a large selection of dishes in the “all you can eat” option. Everything was freshly prepared with great attention to detail. For children under 5 we paid £6 each, which is very reasonably priced. My favourites were the satay chicken skewers, the fish in sweet and sour sauce, and the duck pancakes. We asked for extra sauces and received them within a minute. The service was excellent and everything was very well organised. I also have to mention the cleanliness: the tables and the entire restaurant were spotless, which is not always the case in other places offering “all you can eat” or buffet-style dining. It wasn't our first visit there and definitely not the last! Thank you.”

George is a brilliant and welcoming host who delivers excellent sound quality, making performing an absolute joy. It is the best of any I have been too. The staff at the bar are brilliant and the decor and atmosphere is superb. Thanks to visiting the open mic last Tuesday, I became aware of Liane Carroll performing on the Thursday and bought a ticket. I was delighted to see more events planned. I wold not have found this delightful venue were it not for the highly recommended open mic. I am looking forward to eating there next time.”

“Martini/The Cottage is a very cozy spot for some Italian food. We’d long been meaning to go in and decided to book in for a table of 6 last night. I like the old building a lot. Low ceilings, nice and warm inside, old architecture meets modern decor. Our food was great. I thought the garlic mushrooms with pancetta and cheese were incredible. Very filling and full of flavour. The veal I had for the main course didn’t disappoint either. Some of the most amazing mashed potatoes I’ve had and some very flavourful meat. I’m very impressed. The prices were very good as well. I expected the final bill to be much more. Lastly, they serve a very good pint of birra moretti in here. We hope to return soon!”
