“I popped in for a coffee one morning, and stayed for another. This is lovely genuine Italian café where expats come to socialise. Service was top-notch and very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place.”

“Food is absolutely delicious, well cooked and presented. The up cycling theme running through the building is excellent, creating a very unique place to eat, drink, and be spoilt by the owners. Games night is a great idea catering for all tastes, from board games to classic video games, and quite a bit in between. Highly recommended.”

“Great local chippy, serving an extra portion of care! Stopped here on Friday evening, as we had visitors from abroad who wanted the fish and chip experience and we needed a gluten free option. Deb’s fish bar did not disappoint! Gluten free cod and haddock tasted almost exactly the same as the regular gluten ones. When ordering and needing a little extra advice and help service went above and beyond, even though it was during the Friday evening rush. Also saved us money as we would have massively over ordered. Portions were enormous. Personally, I preferred the cod over the haddock as the haddock still had the skin on, but that is 100% personal preference.”

“Katie was absolutely wonderful, so warm and welcoming and the highest quality waitress we’ve ever experienced. She was thoughtful, efficient, and even asked what we were celebrating! Katie then brought a special congratulations dessert out with all the others to celebrate the achievement. Food was delightful, prompt despite it being a really busy period. Highly recommend!”

“The manager (a lovely lady) at this hotel let me and multiple other people sit in the warmth of the hotel when our train got terminated at Letchworth at after midnight, and she even made me a cup of tea while I waited. She was genuinely such a lovely lady and I was so appreciative of her kindness.”

“What a fantastic venue. Great tasting food, Polite staff as well as bowling,darts and crazy golf. The interior is designed like an American street and looks very good. Only thing that I would advise is that it can be quite loud and if you have a child with autism ect I'd suggest ear defenders if they are triggered by loud noises. Can't wait to return for a third visit soon.”

A good range of options for food, the fried chicken or battered fish are excellent. Overall a great asset to have locally.”

“Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening the gentleman that served us was incredible very polite and friendly.The food was amazing we got the hot mezze for starter and then got the platter for two. “I have gone to Middletons now 4 times and each time I have enjoyed it immensely. The steak is cooked to your liking. A great selections of starters, dips and sides as you would expect. And alternatives other than steak is available. The Sunday Roast option is also amazing. Wine selection and price is amazing. The servers are pleasant and always have a smile on their faces while serving. Will continue to return for future dinners while in MK.”

“Access is from the staircase at the back by the waterside. Freshly renovated with a rather pinky look inside. Tastefully done though. You can reserve a table online if you wish.. Plenty of friday evening entertainment with live singers. A large spacious area with lots of seating. A dance floor too. Outdoor seating for warmer nights with nice views. Its not just for youngsters, there seems to be a mixed age range inside which is nice to see. VERY nice cocktails. Service was quick. Do choose carefully on the food menu, I'd say they were more warm snacks than actual large plated meals.”

“We had the wonderful Lily as our server who was so inviting, friendly and caring while taking our order and made sure we had enough time when choosing. We had a lovely meal for dinner that was tasty and affordable with a lovely atmosphere around us that felt comfortable and clean. We would be more than happy to come again soon and try some other things on the menu but we had a perfect evening with lovely service ☺️”

“We came to Bar + Block Steakhouse in Milton Keynes for my daughter’s birthday and had a great experience. The food was spot on and cooked perfectly, with the truffle mac and cheese being especially good – rich, creamy, and full of flavour. Our waitress, liesa, was absolutely lovely – friendly, attentive, and really made the occasion feel special, and the rest of the team were very catering and accommodating throughout. Although it was fairly quiet during our visit, it created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which we really enjoyed. A lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.”

“There's no place like the wellingborough road I would say. An African partt is a great party. Come here for a great atmosphere or play some free pool outside in the back. Just ask who's on next and then ask to be next up. Bbq going outside. Recommend this for your African party”

“A nice discovery outside St Neots. Nice restaurant with good food. A bit overpriced burgers from your usual pub burger but it is sensibly priced based on the location and the type of restaurant. Sitting outside is definitely recommended, it has great views of the golf course and the lake, it's quite tranquil.”
