“Had a perfect dinner! Cocktail Aperol was absolutely amazing. Steaks were so soft and tasty, were amazed by peppercorn and blue cheese sauces. Very friendly staff, who served us literally in 10 minutes, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite busy. Definitely 5 starts and we definitely will come back !”

“Excellent place. Independent pubs seem to be quite rare now-a-days and this definitely is one. Excellent service an ambience. Great beer really impresses me and a lovely location. Popular indoor/outdoor space and enough parking. I always thought the Loop Road was a local myth but really is a road to where you just were with a great pub half-way round! Perhaps that's what heaven will be like...”

“Always a great atmosphere and Andrew never disappoints with his monthly specials menu. Last night we enjoyed the Wednesday steak night which is fantastic value for money at £16 for a rump steak , chips , mushrooms, tomatoes and a medium glass of red wine. All served by the staff who enjoy working there .”

“Amazing food, been in Northampton now for just over a year and struggled to find a decent takeaway that we enjoyed, however with here it was great . I had a Adana kofte which was perfectly seasoned but also had great portions . My partner had the vegetarian mousakka and was also delighted. Furthermore when the order arrived the delivery driver was very kind and polite , overall fantastic experience and great food , definitely will be ordering from here again and trying the restaurant post covid.”

“Had a fabulous Sunday roast here. I have generally avoided Sunday roasts as they are always a disappointment. However I had an amazing roast lamb dinner at the Wooden Walls. The lamb was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. A good selection of fresh vegetables and blinding roast potatoes and Yorkie puds. The gravy was amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend.”

“I really enjoyed my time here. Went for a family meal, and there was a wide choice of food for everyone. Quality of the food was great, and nobody had any issues. The venue was clean and welcoming, but maybe a little on the cold side with the change in temperature that day - but cant really blame them for that. Staff were all really nice and gave a great quality of service. The venue was great for us as a family to come, but it would equally be fine for just a couple to go to. My only point for improvement would be the beer selection wasnt exactly to my taste, but it might be to yours. Will definitely be making a trip there again, and hopefully when the canal museum is open too.”

“After somehow never visiting this pub, it was recommended as a party venue. From the point of enquiring they were so friendly and helpful. Booked it for my nieces 21st and we all had an amazing time. The pizzas were 10/10 and so was the service! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.”

“Clean Halal restaurant. The staff were cautious and friendly. We arrived close to closing time, and we were still welcomed and not rushed. The food was fantastic in taste, and the portion sizes were generous. Food prices are reasonable. One thing that would have been nice would be to have high chairs for toddlers to use. It was quite difficult and messy as toddler struggled on the regular chairs. Overall, I would recommend this place for nice tasting, good price halal dining.”
