“Stayed here for about a week recently bed and breakfast. Everyone was very friendly. Tracy very on it with breakfast every morning making my life as easy as possible. The entire place from the room to the toilets were kept extremely clean and welcoming. Would stay again. Thanks.”

“Great lunch. Arrived just as they opened and orderes small plates. Food came fast and hot. Excellent fish cake and calamari. Chorizo was not at all spicy with pleasing flavour. Good BBQ wings and honey whipped feta was great. No pic of the fiash because we ate it before I thought to take a photo. Great lunch sitting outside in the September sunshine”

“Awesome pub with friendly staff. The land-lady laid on a buffet for my wife's birthday party which we held in the lounge area. We had the whole lounge to ourselves and the hire was free (takings at the bar). Highly recommend. They have great bands on there as well. Food is fab too.”

The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the food is absolutely delicious—especially the hearty mains that pair perfectly with their excellent selection of ales. “We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Super cool to wake up next to a formula 1 race track. Upon arrival we did not know that there was a race track but opened up the curtains in the morning and saw the grandstands and the main raceway for Silverstone race track. Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Easy parking. Also a huge F1 store attached to it.”

“Really good food. Serves kebabs, pizza, fish, pies and sausages all for a good price and they're pretty generous with their portions, especially the chips. All of the ingredients are fresh too.”

“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! Lovely people serving us as well, such a friendly atmosphere and a great start to our day. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing food as per.. service was great and attentive and friendly.. was last night of the 50% discount tonight and the place was full to capacity!! But staff were doing their best to deal with the busy night. Service took a little longer than usual but was to be expected.. a few more staff would have helped the workload but was excellent none the less.. the food was cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed it.. will be one of my go to places in future.. thanks for a lovely eve.”

“Absolutely delicious food, with lots of choice, we all went for the roast, many side dishes included which you pay extra for anywhere else. The service by Callum, Amanda and another young lady was spot on, nothing was too much trouble. All in all, great venue, delicious food and great service, I’m proud to call you my local!!”

“My 8 year old daughter wanted to come here after previously having a coconut drink from a pop up stand. She went for the tropical drink,the gentleman was very helpful, as soon as she tried this drink she said "Wow! I give this a 10/10,best drink ever" she was very impressed and can't wait to come back. The food and the service is always been outstanding, the portion sizes are great and the environment is cozy and warm. “Another amazing time had The Sun Inn, Hardingstone 14 of us, which included 6 children attended The Sun on Saturday 13/12/25 for a festive gathering, with all of us opting for the festive menu As is always the case at this venue, we received a very warm welcome & shown to our table by Alice Once our party has all arrived, Alice notified the kitchen & within minutes, we has all been served hot, fresh & delicious meals with absolutely no complaints from anyone in our group Our Waitress's were incredibly efficient, ensuring that our tables were regularly cleared of plates & glasses & they checked in with us every so often to ensure we were happy. Furthemore, at no time did we ever feel pressured to vacate our table, which led to a thoroughly enjoyable & relaxed occasion Suffice to say, it is with confidence that I commend the team at the The Sun, Hardingstone, whom, from the initial booking (some 5 weeks ago) to the time that we left the venue, were nothing but outstanding. A huge cry also goes out to the following staff for making this occasion so special; Grace, Hollie & Chantelle for managing the original booking & for checking in with me on the odd occasion to make sure there were no changes & that everything was ok Sienna, Jess & Sheobe for looking after us on the day I also wish to thank the kitchen team, in particular Mustfa for serving up some incredibly amazing & delicious food for us all. The presentation of the food was superb & above all, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, including the children who all had Burgers! The kitchen team & Chefs are invaribly the unsung hero's of any hospitality establishment & Mustfa is clearly a credit to The Sun & the wider McManus team for preparing & serving up some incredible meals. “It's the First time I have eaten at this place, the steak was amazing, The service was 10/10, there was one little mistake with our order but it was very quickly rectified, The manager took off the cost of one of the mains to make up for the mistake, which was more than she had to do. And as a bonus I got a free dessert as it was my birthday. So overall service was a 10, the meal was a 10, would definitely go there again.”

“We had a 40th birthday party here and it was fantastic. Hannah was amazing so helpful and friendly when booking and planning everything. Although we were booked outside on the day it was raining so she moved us inside and was super reassuring. The staff were great there (Brooke in particular looked after us) she was wonderful and helpful. The food was really good aswell!!! “Our go to food establishment for celebrations. Enjoyed a 70th birthday Sunday lunch with a group of visually impaired and disabled friends. The manager was superb and got us seated quickly even though the pub was expecting a hoard of netballers! The food, as always, was superb and served very promptly. “After a wet windy afternoon at lamport hall craft fair, the roaring fire was most welcome at the inn! Evie who was the most attentive waitress showed us to a fantastic table ! 2 of us had trio of beef,”lamb, pork roast dinner ! Which was delicious! Best yorky puds I’ve ever had, cheese cake for pudding , all scrumptious !”

“I popped in after passing by and then turning around to come in. I'm glad I did! Very friendly team, welcoming and polite. I was served promptly and the food also came out within 5 minutes of ordering. I had the salmon fishcake with new potatoes, poached egg and salad. All cooked amazingly and the perfect portion. The menu had a great selection. Atmosphere was chill and relaxed with a tidy, clean environment. I will come back!”
