βThree of us had lunch here today after a 10 mile walk. Absolutely excellent food, good beer and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Two courses for Β£17.50. One of us said that the plaice was the best he'd ever had and the dragon pie was just what we neededβ
βPopped in for lunch and had a lovely meal. Highly recommend the mushrooms on toast, and the chips were smashing. Slight problem with the battered fish, but the staff were very apologetic, and happy to put things right :) nice touch that the chef also came out to check in with us. P.S. They're dog friendly in the bar!β
βThe horse and jockey will forever be one of my favourite places in Bedfordshire. The sea food is outstanding and the staff never fail to make me smile. Will recommend to everyone β€οΈβ
βWent to Cibo on Newnham Street many times before and always had amazing service and subs so was a bit sad when it closed. Went to the new location a few weeks ago and although the vibe is different the subs are still incredible. The food was delicious, massive portions and always the best quality ingredients are used. The staff are always smiley and friendly so will be going back again.β
βWe visited The Whisk Kitchen & Bar this afternoon, and it truly impressed us! This place in Woburn Sands is one of the best spots for breakfast. The Breakfast Platter was a real treatβhearty, well-balanced, and made with top-quality ingredients. Every element was carefully prepared, making the meal both satisfying and flavorful. With friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and exceptional food, The Whisk is a place weβll definitely return to. Highly recommended!β
βPopped in for a fantastic Italian meal last night. My friend had the calzone which was crammed full of delicious pizza toppings and I had the special salmon pasta which was superb. All washed down with a few pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Definitely worth a visit!β
βGot a tip off a local foodie page on Facebook and visited with my friend. Wow was well worth the 40 min drive. Very attentive service and the food was amazing. They use local produce so the menu varies day by day . We got there early and it was full by the time we left make sure you book. Will definitely return to sample more.β
βWe had a very nice time at the Mill Yard cafe. It was a Motherβs Day treat by our children. The service was excellent and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. It is a quaint cafe, situated in a beautiful side street. Thank you for a lovely time. Will surely be visiting again in the summer.β
βA real gem in Milton Keynes! Always incredibly welcoming, great coffee and generous portion sizes! We always struggle to leave without taking a slice of delicious cake or tray bake with us!β
βInformative and friendly service each and every time. Won't shop anywhere else for my vaping products.β
βAbsolutely! Here's a 5-star review for Hello Burger: If you're in Northampton and looking for an amazing burger experience, look no further than Hello Burger! I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food. The meat was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and delicious. But that's not all β their milkshakes, wings, and wraps are also top-notch! I highly recommend Hello Burger to anyone who loves great food and wants to try something decent and quality. This place is truly a gem, and it's way better than any of the other burger chains out there.β
βI recently visited this hidden gem of a vegan cafe located on a boat near the skate park, and it was an absolute delight. Despite not knowing about its existence until a friend's recommendation, I'm so glad I discovered it. The entire menu is vegan-friendly, catering perfectly to our party's dietary preferences. The service was exceptional; the lady serving us was incredibly polite and friendly, making our first visit feel warm and welcoming. We appreciated how accommodating they were to our requests, happily making changes to our orders without any fuss. Even when they ran out of nuggets, they went above and beyond by deducting it from the bill, a gesture that truly impressed us. The food arrived promptly and exceeded our expectations in taste and presentation. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Despite being initially quiet, the cafe gradually filled up, creating a lively ambiance. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that left us all thoroughly satisfied and eager to return.β
βNew to the area Iβve tried so many different Chinese takeaway but this is by far the best I ordered King Prawn Fried rice the portion was generous & very tastyβ
βLovely pub on a very pretty high street, warm welcome and a few beers to pick from. Would be nice to see a good IPA on draft but other than that it's well worth popping in. They do regular live music and food events too.β
βIgnore the 1 star review the woman leaving that review looks like she would be happy eating a chicken ball through a tennis racket. Anyway me and my friend had an amazing time Iβm glad we stumbled upon it! The food was amazing the staff were super friendly and it was quite cosy in there as it felt like you was in someoneβs dinning room. Ideal place for a date as was nice and accommodating. This is now my favourite restaurant!β
βJust been for a track day there, thought the facilities were great :)β
βAbsolutely stunning old pub. Exposed beams, fireplace, low ceiling. Lovely little pub garden too. Sheltered and open.β
βHad a fabulous lunch here. The food is exceptional, as is the service. The waitresses couldn't be any more helpful and friendly. Our main waitress, Gosia, was wonderful. We asked her if we could change a few ingredients in some of the dishes, which wasn't a problem at all. She made sure we had everything we needed, was funny and truly lovely. The ambience and lighting is very warm and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this Zizzi, at Rushden Lakes. 10/10!!!β
βSuch a lovely setting. Lighting, cleanliness and just the right amount of attention from staff. Not to mention the food came out in great time and subtle flavours of the classic dishes are just heavenly. I love the decor and choice of tablewear. Lovely roaring fire and great beers on tap to boot.β
βWe sit in with company group of 11 people. The best tikka massala I had ever eaten, not hot, not spicy just sweet as it should be. Appatizer with mix of everything is excellent idea. Really recommend this place, perfect quality. Only the waiter was a bit "too much" talkative and I was a bit tired to him.β
βReally good home cooked Sunday roast dinner. Friendly staff and the location of the pub and the pub itself is so warm and welcoming. Would 100% return, the surroundings are stunningβ
βExcellent fish restaurant in Hitchin. All dishes ordered on our table were really good. Also does meat and veggie options. Hake is recommended. Good service and atmosphere. Mains around Β£20 and worth it. Parking available within short distance.β
βThank you so much for looking after us and our numerous guests on Saturday after we booked the upstairs room but given the heatwave we had to relocate to the outdoor area. The staff were amazing in keeping us all well "hydrated" and everyone said that they had a fab night. Highly recommend this pub for a good selection of beers/ciders and friendly atmosphereβ
βVisited for Sunday Lunch on 26th May. We did book the week previously, and glad we did as i dont think we would have got a table. Parking is plentiful if you have an earlier booking, but can be busy later on and you may have to park away from pub and short walk in. Plenty of seating outside, especially if weather is warm. I had a pint of San Miguel and my wife had a Malibu and coke, which was Β£9.20. We were seated at our allotted time and the restaurant was busy but tables not too close and they cater for larger parties. There is a 2 or course option for Sunday lunch, we opted for the 2 courses for Β£25. I had the topside roast beef and my wife had the chicken. There is an option for Lamb shoulder (i will be having next visit). We were served quickly and the staff are very attentive and friendly. My roast beef was delicious as were the roast potatoes, Yorkshire, the roast parsnips and carrots, were also yummy. The veg came out seperate with peas, beans , leeks and cabbage, all of which were very fresh and cooked to perfection, we asked for extra veg and extra gravy. I think you get a better deal with the Chicken option as you get pigs in blankets and stuffing, which you dont get on the beef?? Anyway, my wife said it was the best roast she has had in more than a decade (high praise indeed). I have to agree, the meal was delicious and the portion generous as i could not finish my beef. We could not fault a thing on the plate, so compliments to the kitchen staff. For desert we had Sticky toffee pudding, i had custard and my wife had extra sauce and butterscotch ice cream. It was light yet scrumptious, and we were both full to bursting. The toilets were lovely and clean and probably the best toilets i have visited in a pub/restaurant for along time. Overall, value for money and the food superb. The service excellent, especially Tim the manager, a lovely kind man. By the way for all 3 courses it is Β£32. We will be back in the next couple of weeks as this was the best Sunday lunch for miles and miles.β
βSuch a gorgeous cafe, the food and drinks were delicious and staff were lovely. The mill is full of character and if you want to find out more you can go on a self guided tour by scanning QR codes. Absolutely loved the decor, I will definitely be heading back and really want to try their food truck Fridays.β
βI was sceptical, having looked at photos, but great pizza. Fabulous service, even though busy. Friendly and comfortable. It seems a must go place for Bedford locals.β
βAbsolutely amazing experience! This Turkish restaurant is a real gem. The food was absolutely delicious β everything tasted fresh, authentic and full of flavour. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the Turkish hospitality from the moment you walk in.β
βHad a fantastic dinner here! The mix platter with rice for two was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed the dishes a lot. The service was great too β thank you, Irum, you were the star of the evening! Highly recommended.β
βExcellent meal at the carrington arms, we had a couple of cuts from the meat counter, cooked perfectly to our order with some really tasty sides. Drinks and dessert also very nice, and a reasonable bill for what we had. Great service from Hannah throughout.β
βThee most underrated restaurant in Buckinghamshire. The Carbonara is the best I have had outside of Italy.. I canβt over sell this place enough.. A real hidden Gem.β
