“Iv used Tandoori Hut for many years now. The food is always amazing, and the staff are so friendly, both on the phone and in store, always a pleasure to pop in for a chat and to collect the order. Chef will always accommodate a request for something cooked in a certain way, or something that isn’t on the menu, a great local business that really is part of the community.”

“Absolutely incredible dining experience! My partner treated me to a lovely meal here, and I was blown away by the tastes of each meal. All the staff were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and when each course was served they tell you exactly what is on your plate. There were various vegetarian selections for my partner, and they catered to this with no problem at all. The cheeseboard we had was a nice addition also. I would definitely like to return and try the wine menu along with the food, there's always next time!”

“Delicious, yummy, fresh smash burgers. Bacon nice and crispy and a good "bite" - good mouthful of burger as you bite in. Heard through word of mouth and glad we took a chance on our Friday night tea here. :) Owner very friendly and happy to explain menu to us. Definitely will go again!”

“This was an amazing pub/restaurant /hotel that definitely gets 5 stars from me. The hotel rooms above the pub are old world oak beams and quirky with a cozy vibe. The food in the restaurant was top notch. I had the boneless spicy chicken and the pictures say more than I ever could. Very tasty and fantastic quality. The green salad and cherry tomatoes were awesome (I don't usually finish a side salad!!)”

“I recently organised to come to Zapato Lounge with my work colleagues last Friday. The atmosphere, food, staff and the overall organisation for a Christmas booking was fantastic. There was someone who is Gluten Free and also a couple of people who are vegetarians and all requests were taken very seriously which was reassuring. “We hired Yellow Bus Catering for our American themed corporate event. They were so helpful, great to deal with and provided an excellent service. They arrived on time, worked around our event timing and most importantly the burgers were delicious! Would highly recommend and look forward to having them back again... maybe to try the pizzas next time!”

The food was also great I hear it got new owners 5 months ago and then took it from the highbrow place it was before back to a top notch, still elevated, local. I honestly think the new owners got EVERYTHING right. The rooms were also clean, inviting and comfortable beds. Well recommend”

“Booked our annual Christmas group night out of 15 friends after a previous outing a couple of years ago which was excellent, and found this years outing was even better .We all ordered food from the Christmas menu the food was fantastic especially the Pork belly main course and Toffe Apple Choux dessert. “Great service and the food was prepared fresh and tasty. We had the avocado salad, chicken katsu, kimchi and grilled chicken, coupled with some sides. All dishes were faultless and had great flavours. It was a quiet evening but this was fine as it allowed us friends to catch up.”

“This is a lovely little cafe which is extremely reasonable with a large menu. It's a great choice of food and everytime I've been the food has been really nice and well cooked. They do prefer cash but will happily take card payments too. Always a treat to visit the Pumphouse.”

“I have visited here with different people over the last couple of weeks. The first time, my friend and I ordered the Super grain salad. It doesn't say anywhere in the ingredients there's anything hot or spicy in it, but neither of us could eat it! We asked if they could check with the chef and he said there's a coating on the grains that isn't mentioned. They apologized and changed our meals for another one with no fuss.”
