“Monte Casa Hotel Montenegro May 2024 We have had a wonderful holiday in Montenegro. We went as a group of 10 couples & friends for our 60 th birthdays . Shona Parker organised and booked all the flights transfers & hotel for us we didn’t need to do a thing it was brilliant hassle free and all ran smoothly from start to finish . Montenegro itself is unspoiled and Shona had researched this for us which is how we chose it as our destination. Its stunning views and little bays are perfect. We went on a couple of fantastic day trips with jet 2 the guide was amazing and the places stunning and so interesting. I would strongly recommend booking with Shona she is so knowledgeable and goes over and above to make your holiday run smoothly .”

“As I am not an expert on Air gun, I went to the shop to roam around. A young man (Sales person) approached me very politely and asked me, whether he can help me out. I told him, I may not buy anything but wish to see the air rifles. The way he advised me & the helpful manner, I made a purchased a brand new Brocock Ghost air rifle. I would strongly recommend anyone who need advise & the right choice to approach these people.”

“We are frequent orders of take away food from Wok Inn Kettering Takeaway, I regularly recommend them to people asking for suggestions. The food is always delicious and fresh, my personal favourites are the Kung Po Beef, Beef with Green Peppers and Black Bean Sauce. Chicken Satay Skewers are another firm favourite of ours. The Aromatic Crispy Duck is some of the best we have had! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Convenient parking outside the shop for easy collection.”

“The company I work for had a celebration this week and decided to buy the workers a pizza lunch. I contacted Pizza time in Kettering and after talking to Mishel, who was very helpful, I ordered a total of 44 Pizza`s to be delivered to my work. I needed the deliveries to arrive at 2 separate times (mid day and 5pm) to cover workers on different shifts. Both deliveries arrived on time, with the food piping hot. Despite the size of the order (10 different varieties across 44 pizza`s) there were no mistakes. Everyone commented that the pizza was delicious and most workers came back for second and even third helpings. I would definitely use this company again. They were friendly, efficient, helpful and best of all, the food was great.”

“I have this week been sent to Kettering General Hospital A&E by my GP, although it was busy and getting busier all the time I was seen quickly by a triage nurse and sent on for various tests that resulted in me spending the night in the CCU. The following day I was given various proceedures and eventually discharged late in the afternoon.During the time I was there I witnessed professional, caring staff doing their best to care for their patients and I have nothing but admiration and gratitude for the care I was given. Kettering and the surrounding towns have grown enormously in the fifty plus years since we moved here, if there is a problem with our locaal NHS it is not with the staff, but with the funding that has not kept pace with that growth.”

“I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.”

Food was great and there is a fantastic variety available we also tried the wine which was great and. Reasonably priced. We had a table. Of seven and had a lot of fun. When we got the. Bill it was. “Visited for the first time this Sunday afternoon after having spied the Lilacs whilst out for a walk a couple of weeks previously. What a lovely place, a bit TARDIS like, it's bigger on the inside than it looks this is a really nice pub, with a big open airy restaurant and multiple outside spaces. The Sunday menu is good, not a wide selection, but everything on the menu appears to be well balanced and from our experience is done well. We had starters, carvery and dessert and all were lovely. The carvery was one of the best I've had, veg wasn't overcooked or dried out from being sat on the hot plate too long, the meat was juicy, tender and cooked nicely and the cauliflower cheese I could have eaten by the gallon. A delightful selection of desserts were on display in the cabinet, and the chocolate and cheesy mousse dessert I selected was beautiful, a rich deep flavour whilst still being light enough after a big meal. Topped it all off with a latte with Bailey's in and I was a happy man. The staff were all really friendly, and very attentive and helpful, service was quick and came with smiles and personality. We're already looking at when we can return to try the regular evening menu and another of the cakes from the cabinet.”

“A shop that stocks a lot of products! However, my main requirement was Calor Gas bottles. They stock most gas bottle sizes (mine is 7kg) and their prices are reasonable; much better than most petrol station forecourts- £10 cheaper.”

“Great little theatre, incredibly good value bar and tickets (despite what others have said) for quality productions, the play I saw featured a very talented cast and crew. The stage itself is intimate with the audience and makes clever use of the building. I’d highly recommend visiting, especially if you appreciate quality theatre that tests its audiences and at bargain prices too.”
