βIβve been registered here for years but have not needed to use the service until this year. I had been feeling worse and worse over several months and finally contacted the surgery online as it wasnβt an urgent issue. A couple of days later I received a response from Dr Kirkbride-Jamu to confirm I should have some blood tests which I was able to book in quickly. It took a few weeks to have a follow up appointment for results but as it was an issue that had built up slowly the delay wasnβt a worry so I didnβt push. Shortly before the appointment I called the surgery and asked for access to my records on the NHS app. The phone was answered quickly and the receptionist sorted it out in a couple of minutes. Within a few hours I could see the results. My immediate issue (anaemia) was discussed in the follow up with Dr Field and my prescription was sent straight to my local pharmacy. Another issue was my cholesterol which was worryingly high. Due to my age, I donβt technically meet the criteria for statins or a referral. Dr Field listened to my concerns around my family history (very early heart attacks) and said she would see what she could do. A few weeks later I had a referral to a specialist. Iβm very grateful for the friendly and compassionate service from the staff at the clinic. Iβve seen so many horror stories about services in the NHS that I was worried about being fobbed off but everyone I have spoken to has listened to me and helped.β
βWell Pharmacy is an invaluable asset to Brixworth and the surrounding area. The pharmacist and all the colleagues are always ready with invaluable advice when consulted, in a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere. Gratitude to them all. May this Pharmacy go from strength to strength in the heart of the village.β
βExcellent care provided from the moment I arrived. The nurse looking after me Stacey was wonderful, especially as she had to put up with me for most of the day! One of the nurses even went to fetch me sandwiches twice, which was an absolute lifesaver!β
βThe staff are helpful and friendly. My sister and I went through some terrible times at the start of the pandemic. The staff were honest compassionate and understanding. Especially one particular member of staff, thanks Beccy, you probably don't realise but you were one of the very few people who work in health care that was honest and truly caring. Thanksβ
βI have recently moved to Huntingdon and find the staff friendly, helpful, polite and above all knowledgeable. There have been two mistakes in my prescriptions over six months, both due to the GP I attend, not the fault of this pharmacy. Thank you to everyone concerned. Five stars from me.β
βIt was sad to read the negative reviews because for the last 2 years I have had nothing but positive experiences with Woburn Sands Pharmacy. They have always been so accommodating and helpful. I visit once every 3 weeks for my repeat and couldn't be happier with the service.β
βThanks so much for your hard work. I have submitted online consultation and received a call back and text to sort out the issue . Well done as I now how underfunded the service isβ
βGot the prescription I wanted (an e-prescription as well) with no hassle. Pharmacist was nice (Neha) so all in all very happy with the serviceβ
βFirst time I used this Chemist yesterday. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. A great experience. Definitely recommend.β
βi've had not great experiences in the past, but in the last 6 months the staff have been really friendly and helpful and i've had no issues :)β
βI am fairly new to this surgery but from the moment I registered beginning of December to now I have had nothing but great experiences. Registration I needed my B12 very quickly and they booked me in before my details was even registered to ensure I got it on time, then they had me set up fast so I could get my repeat medication without any delay over christmas which I was so worried about! I got very ill and needed an on the day appointment and didn't call until just gone 2pm and managed to get one with the lovely nurse Julie/Julia who was incredible with me, told me off for not going a&e like she should, spent a long time doing a thorough examination then found out what was wrong with me and prescribing me medication to help and told me to never ignore signs and call ambulance next time, she really was amazing and hope to see her again if I ever need a nurse. She made me laugh so much during a scary time!! Hope she gets a lot of recognition you can tell she is very passionate about her role as a nurse and cares so much about her patients. Then the receptionists, have always been so kind and helpful towards me and always resolve any issues I have had. Really like this surgery and love the people working there, all so friendly and helpful xβ
βThis review is for the dentist Well, what can I say other than fab service and really friendly staff. Iβve had a couple of emergency requests for help and they have been there to help Today I had to have a tooth out and really, I was not looking forward to this, really not, but they were reassuring and it was done very quickly and easier than I was expecting. Many thanksβ
βThe receptionists are superb, so helpful and aware of your needs, not just when signing in but also while you are waiting. I screamed with leg pain and the receptionist Immediately asked the do tor to come down and see me in the ground floor doctors room. Very impressed with interactions with them on phone and in person. Doctor running late but in my opinion a sign that he/she listened to patients. Took time to listen to me.β
βI am happy with all the assistance I received from my GP here. The phones are rarely busy and you always get quick helpβ
βHonestly best medical practise Iβve ever joined!! GPS listen and always get an appt at any time of day. Would highly recommend this practise!!β
βI think this surgery is amazing! The reception staff are amazing! I honestly couldnβt think of a better set of women they have all helped me and the doctors and nurses and great! Brilliant surgery!β
βDon't normally do reviews , but just got off the phone from a lovely receptionist ,yes ,I did say a lovely receptionist. Her name was Rashida ,and very polite with me.although can't see a Dr for a fortnight ,she was very pleasant .β
βIt can take a while to get through to someone but thatβs the same with every GP surgery. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are all doing a great job!!β
βI am very happy with the care I receive at The Mounts Medical Centre. In my opinion, they are the best medical centre in Northampton. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. Whenever I need something, they respond promptly and do their best to assist. I would especially like to mention Dr Ahmed Shurrab β an excellent doctor. He is not only a true professional with great medical knowledge, but also a kind and empathetic person with a big heart. It really makes a difference to be treated by someone who genuinely cares. Highly recommended!β
βI am new to this surgery however I have been in need of medical care numerous times because of my young children. I have received fantastic service from here. From the reception staff to the doctor and the pharmacist..β
βNot sure if the lovely doctor will get to see this as Iβm unsure how to leave feedback. I went with my daughter on Friday 21st November at 11am due to her genuinely just feeling unwell. The doctor we saw was middle aged and blonde. She done her obs and was concerned for my daughter and even allowed us to take her water. Told us to go to a&e. My daughter ended up staying from Friday to Sunday night due to influenza a. I just wanted to feedback positively because usually itβs only negative we see and my daughter was unwell last year and it took multiple trips to be given an answer but in this case the doctor took my concerns seriously which possibly prevented a more serious situation so THANK YOU.β
βI think my Jill and I must be attending a different surgery! Since the appointment system (face to face) has been reinstated we have nothing but praise in our own particular circumstances for all the staff at this surgery. We have both had fairly serious health problems ( my wife Jill more than me) and all Doctors in my case Natasha Umrao and for Jill Dr Onimole & Dr Munir all have been amazing in their kind and humanitarian way and looked after our interests to the maximum. I will say utilising the Anima Health app ( which does take a bit of getting used to) does make contact and management of appointments a lot easier. And again from a personal point of view - a big shout out for all the reception staff and nurses who have always been so kind to us.β
βAfter having my blood pressure measured and a blood sample taken by a very pleasant and professional nurse I was asked by her to make an appointment for a medication review. After a number of texts over the course of several days in which the result of each test e.g., cholesterol level, B12 level etc. was given I waited for my medication review. The review was undertaken over the phone by a Clinical Pharmacist. After introducing herself she patiently explained in detail exactly what the test results were. We then discussed the regular medication that I take. She asked various questions relating to my medication e.g., when do I take the tablets, are there any side effects etc. The whole experience was undertaken in a manner which made me feel that I was being treated as a valued patient and not just a name on a list.β
