“This was our first experience at Cromwell Cottage. We enjoyed everything about our time here. Our food was cooked perfectly for us - hot, fresh & the steaks to our preference. Staff were attentive, professional, friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Atmosphere was relaxed & happy. Myself & my husband were able to have a conversation without having to shout across the table to each other. We will definitely visit again in the future.”

“Went to the Four Pears for a business lunch yesterday and had an amazing steak! It was cooked to perfection and the only problem was I wanted more! I had to leave for a meeting but the person I was with had a sticky toffee pudding that he said was divine. Definitely go here if you haven’t already.”

“What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”

“Lovely place to stay very comfortable staff are very accommodating the food is amazing in the restaurant great location very central to every where we were over for the bike show at the NEC but I also have family in Daventry so was the perfect place to stay for us . “Katie was absolutely wonderful, so warm and welcoming and the highest quality waitress we’ve ever experienced. She was thoughtful, efficient, and even asked what we were celebrating! Katie then brought a special congratulations dessert out with all the others to celebrate the achievement. Food was delightful, prompt despite it being a really busy period. Highly recommend!”

“The new owners have done a fantastic job here, they were very friendly aswell, we had 3 pizzas and they were delicious and very well priced. The garden is beautiful with lots of seating. A really lovely few hours spent here, will definitely be back.”

“What a fantastic venue. Great tasting food, Polite staff as well as bowling,darts and crazy golf. The interior is designed like an American street and looks very good. Only thing that I would advise is that it can be quite loud and if you have a child with autism ect I'd suggest ear defenders if they are triggered by loud noises. Can't wait to return for a third visit soon.”

“To be completely honest. We found this gem of a pub by pure accident and I am so glad we did. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is reasonably priced and also very good quality. I had the fish and chips and the burger and they were both very good sized portions. I will definitely be returning to this pub. The interior was very well maintained. If It was possible to give six stars, i would.”

“I had taken my wife there for her birthday and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant fairly quiet with I think reserved seating. The service very nice and pleasant but the waitress seemed preoccupied. But so what, the food, "oow,..was to live for". Definitely recomend and definitely will be a repeat customer. “The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“We had the wonderful Lily as our server who was so inviting, friendly and caring while taking our order and made sure we had enough time when choosing. We had a lovely meal for dinner that was tasty and affordable with a lovely atmosphere around us that felt comfortable and clean. We would be more than happy to come again soon and try some other things on the menu but we had a perfect evening with lovely service ☺️”

“My son's birthday party here was amazing! The kids loved the two games, the food, and the fun shaped balloons. The staff was wonderfully patient and friendly. She even helped us with the birthday cake, gathering everyone to sing and facilitating the cake cutting. Highly recommended for a fun, stress-free party!”
