“Calm, quiet, beautiful. We found this park by accident, after there was no parking at all at Willen Park. The playground is baby and toddler friendly too”
“Beautiful Nd peaceful little corner of Wolverton away from all the hustle and bustle. Well maintained. Try looking up -& you'll find surprisingly tall trees! Absolutely beautiful during autumn.”
“Great place to relax and hangout. 5 min walk from Milton Keynes Central station.”
“We had such a wonderful experience during our visit! The property is beautiful and well maintained! Their operations were excellent and extremely helpful regardless the times of request! Will definitely come back again!”
“A labyrinth rather than a maze. One needs to follow the straight path to do the whole thing and not take the shortcuts. It's a good bit of fun but takes quite a while to walk it. I ran the second half to speed things up. Remarkably satisfying to get to the oak tree at the centre, having done the whole thing. Lovely and peaceful surroundings and a nice view.”
“We recently moved to The Almere and the experience has been fantastic. The building is modern, clean, and has a great atmosphere. Everything we need is within walking distance, and the location is perfect for daily life. What really makes a difference is the amazing team at the reception. They've been incredibly supportive and welcoming since day one – especially Jasmine, Christina and Natalie, who always go the extra mile to help. We truly feel at home here and would definitely recommend The Almere to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.”
“First time visit. Lovely Walks around. The Inn on the Lake is such a lovely place.”
“Fantastic holiday camp, the kids love it every time. There is a great range of activities on offer and the kids come home very happy!”
“I’ve been using Shenley Church End Leisure Centre for 20+. Excellent customer service, plenty of facilities and great football pitch (perfect size for 7 a side with very competitive pricing). However, the centre is a bit dated. Shout to Mo on reception. She’s brilliant!”
“Willen Lake Observation Wheel in Milton Keynes is like a smaller version of the London Eye… I have been on it a few times during the day and when the sunsets… You can get amazing views of the lakes at Willen or even get a beautiful view of the sunset… You can take family with you, for adults it’s £6 and you get to go round three times… It’s a very nice place to visit with plenty to do and enjoy for all ages”
“We stayed for one night in a beach hut in the village, enjoyed the light trail on the Saturday evening and then spent Sunday in the park with a visit to Santa on the seventh of December. It was our first time visiting Gullivers Land and even though the weather was a little miserable we had a brilliant couple of days that our children will always remember. Every member of staff we met was friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience special for the children. A particular mention goes to Mitchell on Dragon Siege who was fantastic. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly. We would happily return.”
“This place was amazing. For the cost I kept wondering what was going to be wrong, but it really was fantastic. The accommodation we stayed at was so warm and cosy, the park was friendly and small ques, plus lots to do for little legs. We met a member of staff called Jonathan, a more mature fella and he was hilarious. Made our day. Really cant recommend this place enough. Land of lights was brilliant too. Can honestly say I wasn't expecting it to be so good.”
“Lovely gym and even better Zumba classes. Mimi is absolutely brilliant - passionate, energetic, and always creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Recently, she even put together a special Christmas-themed class with amazing music and dance, which made the experience even more fun.”
“Loved it! Great for the kids, shame the pool was shut, but the themed log cabins are great, but a tad small. Staff were amazing, so friendly, and helpful. We'll go back for a longer stay again.”
“Nice compact 25m pool. Great for swim coaching. Plenty of parking.”
“Beautiful place for a day out with the family”
“We’ve been going to Water Babies at Holiday Inn for over a year now. I take my now 18 month daughter there and she has become so confident in the water. She isn’t afraid to put her head under and she has learnt so many skills: she can hold on to the edge without any support, she climbs out, jumps in, blows bubbles. She loves laying back looking up at the ceiling which most kids hate at this age. Holly has been our teacher for the whole time (WB do this for the continuity which I think is brilliant) and she has been fantastic. She really packs a lot into the session. It is on the pricier end of the scale for swimming lessons but I feel that it is 100% worth the value.would definitely recommend.”
“I have been using the facilities at Woughton Leisure Centre more than 30 years starting with my sons learning to swim who are now adults with their children having done swimming lessons there this past summer. I learnt to swim there when I retired in 2021 and now hold a swim membership. As well as swimming I have played badminton weekly again over 35 years. Apart from the facilities the staff have without fail offered a highly professional and friendly service in particular Hannah, Mark, Dean and Niki. Twice I had brain fog and confused about which locker I thought was mine , Mark and Hannah came to my rescue and were very understanding when they assisted me on finding my correct. Woughton Leisure plays a very important role in keeping me healthy.”
“Our experience has been amazing at the Atrium. Alena & Paul the property managers have been super helpful and very quick to resolve any problems we’ve had. The apartments and unit as a whole are very well maintained and clean. Alena went above our expectations and shown us around multiple apartments in the building, although we only had a booking to view one. The building is secure and there’s off road parking out front which is a great bonus. Can’t wait to work with them again!”
“As a child who used to go to this park with school, this place is SO amazing. They have really nice splash pads and water slides, still to this day.”
“I popped in here whilst my car was still in the garage for late repair. I visited this centre on Monday 27/10/25 at around 4pm. The facility is good, and has free weight gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam. Very spacious leisure centre. What stood out the most were the kind receptionists. They helped me out with a day pass, gave me a tour of the facility and showed me where everything was. Thank you for making my visit accommodating.”
“Not sure what the same person who wrote the 1 star review is on about lol. I take my children 3 times a week for swimming lessons and rookie life guard training. Teachers and staff are always friendly and happy to help we have been going for 5 years and had no issues. The showers could do with an update but never seen mould!. Can’t be that bad if the lessons are always full and have a massive swimming club.”
