“We came to celebrate our grandpa on his birthday at the one place he loved the most. What an amazing evening; can’t thank the guys enough. Beautiful family run restaurant we’ve come to for years. Our beloved papa, Barry Packer who worked many of nights with the team too, clearly made an unforgettable impression on them all. Was beautiful to see their reactions and hear their stories of working with him;was truly remarkable. A man who was loved by many and treated as one of their own, we will never forget the memories made. Thankyou to all who served us and knew our grandpa, you all made it such a special occasion for him and our family today.”

“We had such a lovely experience at Enfes, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Joanna, our waitress, who was so kind and attentive throughout. She checked in on us just enough without ever interrupting the flow, and made sure we were comfortable and happy with everything. We ordered the Mediterranean meatballs and the mixed döner plate, both full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service really added to the experience, friendly, thoughtful, and relaxed. “If you are looking for a Sunday lunch with a choice of meat or veg options, giant yorkshires, crispy roast potatoes, plenty of gravy cauliflower cheese and a great selection of veg….this is your place. I have visited corner 5 many times for lunch and dinner, today on a Sunday and I am devastated I have missed out on so many Sundays now I’ve been once. It was delicious. And we were treated to some very skilled wake boarders doing tricks too.”

“I first went here in 1977. And it became my go to place. Keema peas Vindaloo hot, Tarka daal, 2 chapattis and one rice. All I had to do was call and they wouldn't even wait for the order and just say 15 minutes and throw in half a pint of lager if I had to wait!! Of course I introduced a lot of people to eat here. Some still do. I live in California now....but this is still my must visit restaurant if I am in Bedford. Good food and good memories.”

“The Spanish tapas here are absolutely delicious! The cheesecake was so good it completely destroyed my “keep fit” plan—I couldn’t stop myself from devouring it. Every single dish was full of flavor and brought me right back to my time in Spain. The only downside? The basement vibe isn’t the coziest and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. Also, the server accidentally tried to charge us twice—but honestly, the food was so good I almost didn’t care! Plus, the staff are actually Spanish, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Strongly recommend! Just… next time, pretty please let me sit at one of the nice ground floor tables. “What a great experience. A night out with the lads was not a disappointment. From the traditional Turkish food to the array of drinks on offer. Music throughout and an unexpected, but entertaining belly dance show. There was also lots of happy birthday vibes with the staff playing a Turkish drum and getting everyone involved in the celebrations. Do not miss out!”
