“This was our first experience at Cromwell Cottage. We enjoyed everything about our time here. Our food was cooked perfectly for us - hot, fresh & the steaks to our preference. Staff were attentive, professional, friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Atmosphere was relaxed & happy. Myself & my husband were able to have a conversation without having to shout across the table to each other. We will definitely visit again in the future.”

“I had taken my wife there for her birthday and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant fairly quiet with I think reserved seating. The service very nice and pleasant but the waitress seemed preoccupied. But so what, the food, "oow,..was to live for". Definitely recomend and definitely will be a repeat customer. “We have ordered from Royal Thai on Uber Eats many times (and it's always delicious) but today was our first time dining in and it was so wonderful. The staff were lovely and the food was exceptional (and beautiful!) The Massaman curry with lamb is a definite favourite! We feel so lucky to have such great Thai food in Northampton ❤️”

“Danny served up what was undoubtedly the best food I have ever tasted for our wedding. His efforts trumped any meal I've had at, even at a Michelin-star restaurant. He was also an absolute dream to work with. Changes to the menu, even last-minute ones, were met with a can-do attitude. His flexibility and positive demeanour took a lot of stress off our shoulders, and made the planning process much smoother for us. The standout aspect of his service was how he accommodated our guests with food allergies and intolerances. He didn't bat an eyelid when asked to prepare alternative meals, ensuring no one felt left out. He took great care to ensure these dishes were as delicious and well-presented as the others, which my bride and I felt was truly commendable. It made those guests feel equally important and included in the celebration. In a nutshell, Danny was not just great at his job but also a great person to work with. His dishes were a hit, his attitude was professional and his attentiveness to all our guests' needs was truly heartening. We really couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience for our wedding. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a top-notch chef, and I will certainly be using him again!”

“The Wood Oven provided the evening catering for our wedding. Catered well for our gluten free guests and the buffet style of our chosen pizzas went down a treat with our guests! They tasted amazing and they were exactly what we all needed. Cannot beat freshly made pizzas!”

Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

“Another lovely visit to The Cinnamon Stick on Friday 22nd Aug. A last minute decision to go out so why not our favourite restaurant. Upon arrival we were led in their 'Arabian lounge', decked out to resemble being in a tent in the Leabanon desert. We've not been in that room before and it's delightfully atmospheric. We know the menu well and we like to order a mix of the mezze and starters and ask for the main course (we had Shis Taouk, beautifully cooked and taken off the skewers) to come with the starters. And you then just sit, take your time and enjoy all the amazing flavours. We had a bottle of Lebanese wine to go with the meal, delicious, and the puddings as alway, scrumptious. I always ask for a pot of their Lebanese coffee, it's not on the menu but they always make it, a perfect way to end the meal.”

“Absolutely loved our meal here! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed everything from start to finish. The prawn toast was hands down one of the best we've had – super crispy and full of flavour. Our curries were delicious, packed with taste and spice, and surprisingly affordable too. Service was friendly and efficient, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. “This was my very first visit to Chez Jerome, I visited with a friend and we were made very welcome. We sat at table no 1 in the window, which looked very Christmasy. We had a extensive menu to choose from. We both chose the festive 3 course menu. I had smoked kipper for starter, my friend chose melon and prawn cocktail. Both were absolutely delicious. We were also served fresh baked small baguette type slices So tasty we finished the lot off! For our mains I chose salmon with seasonal vegetables, my friend chose duck also with seasonal vegetables. The size of the meal was deceiving, there was plenty and we both struggled to get through it, again both were cooked to perfection. Dessert was an amaretto espresso coffee dessert followed by a lovely liquor coffee,I had TIA Maria and my friends had baileys. We also had a glass of water and I had a glass of rosé wine and my friend had a soft drink. The price of the whole meal was very reasonable for what we had. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. My experience here for the first time was really good, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and we were made very welcomed. Thank you to the chef and owners of Chez Jerome and waitress for a great experience.”

“Came here tonight for the first time with my partner. Initially, the queue was long and we figured we’d be there for a good while. However, they were adequately staffed meaning the queue moved quickly. we ordered large chips, two jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was superb! Chips were fresh and arguably some of the best chippy chips I’ve had. Sausage was also good. Curry sauce had a nice sweetness to it but I think the pot could have been a bit bigger. Will be returning again, thank you :).”

“Really nice little Italian restaurant, fantastic atmosphere and service. My pizza and tira misu were gorgeous, but I was a little underwhelmed by my prawn starter otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. My wife and I had starters, mains, shared a dessert and I had 2 drinks and it came to just over £60 so really good value in my opinion Definitely worth a visit”
