“I honestly don't know what people are moaning about. We pulled up on the boat. Free of charge And were greeted with great hospitality. We had the best cider and food was delicious the fish and chips was the best ever fish was nice and thick. Chips were awesome cooked perfectly home made tarter sauce hot. Butter to melt over extra crusty bread. My cheese and chicken leak pie was hand made cooked in an oven skillet pan , beautiful and ate outside before falling asleep on the boat woke up had cappachino and cooked breakfast. Claiton was lovely my cappachino was taken to a sunny table in the garden. Best experience ever.”

“Ordered and went in on a Friday night, ordered to pick up it said 10 mins but ended being another 15 mins on top, understandable as it was really busy but everyone was getting bits done, when our food was ready we got it home and everything was fresh and they gave us a bottle of drink for free for waiting was refreshing as it showed great customer service. “Cracking chippy with a good range of freshly cooked food. We had chips, battered sausage and kebab and to be honest it was all spot-on couldn’t fault it. Will absolutely be going back here again. I would genuinely say it was the best battered sausage I’ve ever had!! Great job”

“We love the consistant excellent food on offer and the understated quiet service. Authentic tastes and quality ingredients. Had numerous takeaways recently, all good. You will need to wait around an hour but it is worth it for freshly cooked dishes. The interior is basic if you want to eat in.”

“Me, my husband, our 4 young children and our pooch really enjoyed our lunch at this warming village pub. There was a lovely beer garden outback perfect for our dog, with a climbing frame and slide for the kids. We ordered 2 adult mains and dessert, and 3 childrens meals with icecream which cost us less than £25 (drinks an extra £16) the woman who served us was very polite and helpful. We would defenatly recommend and we will certainly be back the next time we're visiting the village.”

“Mo's kebabs are amazing! We went for the mixed kebab, chicken shish, lamb shish, chicken doner, lamb doner, kofta, salad, 2 pitta and sauce, absolutely delicious. All came served separately so no soggy bread or hot salad. It had a charcoal Mediterranean flavour reminiscent of happy holidays. Next time we'll order 2 extra pittas and 2 extra sauce as it definitely feeds a family of four. Well done Mo!”

Very welcoming and super customer service, room wasn’t ready so she gave us a discount voluntarily!which was so lovely , busy pub full of well behaved young people having fun…… but by midnight not a sound . “Visited this restaurant last night as a group of 10 in a private room. The decor in the restaurant is really modern and there is a lively atmosphere inside. Was served by Marie and the service was absolutely outstanding 10/10; nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, everything came out fresh and hot and really well presented. The menu has a very good selection of traditional Turkish food and also a good choice of drinks. I think the prices are really affordable for the large portions that you get. Will definitely revisit this restaurant!!”
