“I loved this place. I had a great warm welcome from all the friendly staff. Opted for a fry up and it was really delicious. The chef is probably more talented than they give themselves credit for. Great ingredients and finesse, love the rock salt on mushrooms, worked so well. Was great to sit outside in the sun. Price was higher end but matched the good location and great ingredients. E.g. bacon was definitely dry cured and delicious. No complaints here. I’ve heard they do a banging souvlaki for lunch, so Im down for that next time. Give this place a try.”

“Brilliant service from our Waitress Ella who was very polite and helpful. Granddaughters love their spag bol and burger. They got a complimentary foccia bread starter and doughball Nutella pudding that they liked. I wasn’t taken by the Carbonara fries although my burger was fine. It was a bit noisy at times plus the fire alarm went off twice.”

“Our first visit tonight and it won't be our last. Had chicken goujons to start - with a good side salad - not just a garnish - and a tasty dip. Then bangers and mash. A very generous portion with 3 tasty sausages, peas, mash and onion gravy. Struggled to eat it all. Service with a smile from the barman. Will definitely return.”

“Since moving to Bedford almost 3 years ago, we’ve only had one Chinese takeaway and unfortunately it was quite average. So my husband never really got excited about ordering another one. Today I managed to convince him to try again and this time we tried Lee’s Kitchen. Not only did it come a little early, which we loved, but the food was also perfect!! My husband barely said a word to me because he was so focused on eating! Safe to say, we found our regular Chinese takeaway! Fantastic. (We ordered capital spare ribs, veggie spring rolls, Singapore special fried rice and deep fried shredded chicken with spicy sweet chill sauce).”

“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! Lovely people serving us as well, such a friendly atmosphere and a great start to our day. Highly recommend!”

“We have recently moved to the village and thought we would try the local Chinese, we ordered 2 mains, a rice, a side dish and some prawn crackers, we were surprised this all come to under £19 (our previous Chinese charged nearly £30 for the same order) I was sceptical from the price as to how the quality may differ but I can hands down say it is up there with one of the best Chinese takeaway meals I’ve had! Cheap, tasty and quick service - we will definitely return !”

“Couldn't have been better. We ordered by phone and collected the food. Others may complain, but we had a lovely meal. Monday evening and I guess it was quiet, but the lady who took the order was most helpful despite her obvious handicap with our language; I guess that means it's more authentically Chinese! Anyway she was fantastic. We had a set meal for two and it was really good. I will definitely use this place again and unreservedly recommend it. And yes I paid for my meal and have been offered no incentive to post this here. Just a footnote, any business can have an "off" moment or two (particularly in catering) and this is especially true if it's busy. If things aren't up to scratch, talk to the people in the shop first before posting online.”

“Quite honestly the best part about this Asda. It's the only reason I ever come here since I don't usually shop at ASDA and there is a closer one to me than this one. But that one doesn't have a Sushi Daily. I used to drive 35+ mins one waf to get sushi from St Alban's, but since that place shut down I've been coming here instead which now is only a 15 min drive to here and the sushi is actually pretty good especially for the price.”

The staff (chap with beard always excellent for service and making) are so friendly and kind to my daughter and me. the sandwich was well made and seated area all clean.”
