“Such a lovely place, the weather was beautiful today which of course makes everything look better but the birds, the walk, the boats all looked splendid. Age is not a barrier, bring the family, enjoy the woodland and quiet beauty..”
“I usually go to rock concerts. They invite bands from all over Britain. I even attended an African dance show with Massai dancers. Nice atmosphere in this little theatre. Everything well organised, although, apparently, some of the personnel volunteer. Once you show your ticket, somebody will guide to your seat, which makes you feel very important . There's a nice bar inside and you can have a drink before the performance or during the break(interval). Reasonable prices. I do believe Fisher Theatre is one of the finest places in this little town-Bungay.”
“This has everything a dog needs and more!! Took my boys for a long walk (hour around the fields). Well, sign posted and easy to follow. There is also a 20-minute walk. Enclosed fields for dogs to go off lead. You can hire a smaller enclosed field for your dogs to train recall or play with dogs safely. There is a swimming pool for dogs. An agility course. Grooming salon. Alpacas on site. Camp site. Finally, a perfect dog friendly cafe. They have a dog menu such as: roast dinner, pup cake, burgers, sausages, milk, and pawsecco. Then, a wide range of human meals. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly. My dogs bark, but I never feel embarrassed.”
“A beautiful place on the broads. House open during term time to educational parties, but good woodland and water garden walks. Walks through the marshes and nice walks by the River Ant. A very large public field, good for gatherings and picnics. A very peaceful and beautiful place.”
“Great place to take the little ones. You'll need a full day to take it all in but you won't regret it! Tons to see & do plus the kids get the chance to learn more about wildlife and conservation.”
“A great venue for large family gatherings in a working farm with extensive leisure and entertainment facilities”
“Excellent NT property. Plenty of free parking for members. Beautiful gardens and woodlands to walk around. A very interesting house to explore. Two great cafe with indoor and outdoor dining areas. A nice book shop NT shop and also plants. The walled garden is worth a visit along with a walk around the lake on a nice day.”
“We went to the comedy event and it was a brilliant evening. Great theatre. Overall highly recommended.”
“Continuously improving facilities for all the up and coming football youngsters in Norfolk. Good quality 3G and grass pitches. Residential accommodation for visiting teams (many international). Seating at the 'stadium pitch' only. Centrally located with good road links (& air links - it's next to the airport!). All the new facilities and buildings have been completed, and an on-site shop has opened early 2025. There is ample car parking now and with redesigned, safer entrance, onto the A140. There is a good café for the parents and children alike, though some items may be considered a little overpriced.”
“MSV operate the best circuits in the UK well maintained facilities, grounds beautifully kept and well maintained tracks including track surface and kerbing. Good light systems for racing and good looking safety cars”
“Brilliant venue with a worm welcome from happy employees 5*****”
“We took our daughter to her first Panto, Rapunzel. We all had a lovely time on our first visit to The Garage. Great building and facilities and a nice coffee shop too with a place to play for the kids. We'll be back!”
“What a wondrous place! When we walked out it felt we had been there for a few minutes but well over an hour had passed. You will see all sorts of cultural exhibits, all labelled with very informative descriptions. Another great thing about this is that it's a museum that is also a shop! Some of the items on display are up for grabs, in a very non-pushy way, so if you're planning on leaving with a bit of South Asia with you, there are options for all pocket sizes. Strongly recommend! Worth mentioning: parking on site (Norwich isn't great for this) very friendly and knowledgeable staff packed with interesting items without seeming cluttered free entry”
“A wonderful activity centre and a fabulous experience for the younger generation awaits. The activity staff are quietly professional, friendly and engaging for the younger audience, and help to create fun memorable experiences. The main building is modern and clean with excellent resources. Large well designed areas for either meal or seated activities and a large high ceiling function or activity room with a large wall screen. The kitchen and catering facilities are first class. Highly recommended for single day or stay over events.”
“Wow! What a venue!!! We had our wedding here and I couldn't recommend it more. From start to finish, all the staff exceeded any expectations and couldn't do enough for you. It's a stunning venue, lots of room for dancing and a beautiful outdoor space with veranda which is perfect for photos. They helped us every step of the way and went out of their way to make sure it was just perfect. They let us drop decor off the day before and even set it all up perfectly so we could relax in the morning. Food was amazing, generous portions and the rooms are lovely. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue is and moreover the staff - they are such a credit to the place! Couldn't recommend more Thank you Beckiee and team - you are all superstars !!!!”
“Decent sized hall with an enclosed park area to the back and a field for football etc.”
“I love everything about hickling barn and love that they improve on the play area and keep it well maintained nice bit of shade in the morning so it's not too hot and well just love going there because its quite. The facilities and parking are excellent, I would really love to have my reception hear, think it's a wonderful location for a wedding.”
“A fabulous exhibition from Norwich 20 art group of life drawing from the Wensum Lodge classes.. Superb range of drawings, the artists and models were present and can enjoy a nice glass of wine when browsing the exhibition. Well done to all concerned.”
“Fantastic venue for our Quiz and Chips evening. Kitchen/bar area was perfect for our requirements! Morley Youth FC”
“This establishment is a former bank and a new Community Group have turned it into an arts venue keeping all the beautiful wood panels etc that were originally in the building! I have been here to see a stage performance where the cafe is transformed into a Theatre - Magic! I've been here to a knit and natter group but this time I came in for tea and cake with my husband! There was a lady enjoying a late lunch whilst sketching, there were another couple having lunch and another couple came in as we were leaving! There is a special board which has some tempting meals on it. A very special unique place in the centre of a dear little town!”
“Really enjoyed our first stay on the camp grounds. Luckily our first night was lovely and quiet. The chemical toilets were lovely and clean and the drinking tap was easy to find. The ground was secure with gates and padlocks. Must check out the Hungry Otter for delicious coffee and cakes. Salhouse broad is small but special.”
“Great place to hold functions. Well equipped kitchen for food preparation Lovely views out over the countryside. Kidds play area next door”
“We had our wedding here! Such a lovely charming place, and James and the event staff were very accommodating to us for our big day. I would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. The buffet was really good and well received (with a lot of extra food for guests to take home!).”
“Saw Hammer to Fall there last Saturday, my Fiancé son is the lead guitarist, they have played in many venues, but this venue was really lovely ,really nice staff, and great sound , really would come here again to see other groups”
“A brilliant price with some brilliant actors who put their al linto their performance - a charity that is making they're accessible to the people of Yarmouth.”
“Sitting outside watching the ducks with their babies, whilst drinking a latte was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. Inside the cafe it was very busy.”
“Our first visit on the way through Norfolk. Just stopped for coffee but the food looked nice and customers looked like they were enjoying theirs. Friendly staff.”
“This is a lovely venue - great for hot desking, small meetings or just catching up with friends. The cakes looked great but I did not try any so can't comment on quality but the coffee was pleasantly rich in flavour. I had to book a meeting room at short notice and the team were great at finding me space and making me feel welcome. Thank you Jason, Joel and Hugh.”
“Lovely traditional hall with wooden floor, great for dancing on.”
“Ideal place for private function. Nice bar and helpful staff. Shame that after the Bus Hub was built approx 30 parking spaces were lost. To make matters worse, at least 12 Royal Mail vans are parked over night leaving only a few spaces to park if you attending a function.”
