“A lovely family Sunday lunch was enjoyed by all. A large Sunday roast beef for me with Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes, kale, parsnip, carrot & stuffing. Friendly, quick & efficient service. We'll be back!”

“Fantastic place. I regularly eat here or just popi n for a coffee. Fresh quiche made while you wait (about 15 minutes). Worth the wait. The cakes are delicious and large slices (but youcan have a ½ slice). I took my friend the other week and she really enjoyed it - so much so that she is going again. Never had bad service. Staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is home made and fresh. There is a free carpark opposite for about 10 cars and 2 disabled spaces k3 hour parking). There are also 22 other car parks in Kimberley - one for 3 hours and one is free for an hour and the £1 till 6.00pm. Would highly recommend.”

“One of the best set menu fine dining experiences in Nottingham. It was clear on every course the detail put into the flavours and presentation. The taste was also incredible on every course and very much worth the cost. I also went away feeling decent level of full and the course pacing allowed a good amount of time to make it's a great experience. Staff were also great and attentive to dietary needs. Overall a super experience worth trying.”

“Fabulous real ale pub, relaxing bar and lounge rooms. Live entertainment draws a good crowd in on a regular basis. Have an outdoor area and marque (available to hire out for parties) would recommend to all Lager, Real Ale + Cider drinkers. Busiest pub in Kimberley, especially in the evenings when those in the centre close early!”

“The Top House in Bulwell is a local community public House. It is welcoming and the building is set back from a quiet road. There is ample parking and a large outside space which is well designed and consists of a couple of attractive terraced areas, one under cover. It is not a 'food pub' but harks back to the days when pubs were pubs. Cobs, which used to be available in every pub during the 50s, 60s and 70s, are available and the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial. The beer prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff are polite and efficient. In short, if you're in Bulwell, I recommend paying this hostelry a visit. You won't be disappointed”

“Ok, so it's not a trendy modern pub. But, it's newly decorated, super clean and super friendly. Reasonable choice of beers, ciders and standard pub fayre at good prices. No-one is a stranger here and there's no mouthy locals or loud music.”

“I have just attended Day 1 of the Analogue Spotlight Event at Nonsuch Studios. I enjoyed all the stalls and workshops laid on. My only gripe is that the toilets became unusable during the afternoon meaning that 50-60 people had to share one loo! I'm going to Day 2 tomorrow, I hope the loos are mended!!!! We are so grateful for all your kindness, welcoming and personal touches everyone had. You guys made us feel so comfortable and created such a perfect day for us. Nothing was too much or any pressure. They also created two ceremony venues for us, with the hope we could get married outside and luckily 2025 March weather held out for us. From the staff member handing me a tissue prior to walking down the aisle, to the check ins to see if everything is ok. “Wow, this place is amazing. This is a hidden gem , ever so quirky with great food at a fantastic price. The Sunday roast dinner is value for money and is amazing the best I have had in years. Well done to the owner for making it such a lovely experience, the staff are amazing and location is really tranquil. We enjoyed our Sunday dinner so much we went back the next few days, the curry night was brilliant and the steaks, mixed grill are awesome. You have to check this place out if you are in the area.”
