“Really friendly and welcoming club. Very experienced coaches and great facilities.”
“Absolutely an amazing place. No judgement all age groups welcome. Great classes and a great group of people. Love the place , Great for exercise and social.,Have met some lovely people who are now great friends”
“Ran an event with Spring Lakes in the summer and it was great! The marquee was lovely, and did come with a screen and projector. The only slight issue was we went on a day when we had the extreme heat, and the marquee was very hot - nothing some fans/ or an air con unit couldn't cure - and let's face it, we don't usually get those types of temperatures here in the UK. Food was great (I'd ordered jacket potatoes which are a solid all-round when catering for a large group). Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely setting for an event, I know a couple of people from the group did stay behind to take advantage of the water activities as well.”
“All staff are very helpful & friendly...from reception, cafe, instructors, lifeguards to the manager. Nothing is too much trouble, making it a very pleasant place to visit.”
“Came to the older people swim today with my son, i was very impressed by everything there, the swimming pool was lovely & I wasn't overwhelmed by chlorine fumes, the place is very clean and the staff are very friendly”
“I was extremely impressed with the service at David Lloyd today, especially Kay.She greeted me with a warm smile and immediately put me at ease. Kay took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even went out of her way to introduce me to Jamie who I’ll be training with. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made my visit exceptional, Kay is a real asset to the David Lloyd team and truly goes the extra mile mile for members”
“Staff are friendly and helpful and the whole building itself is huge with many classes available and rooms for different activities - love the variety of things to do !”
“Richard Herrod centre has a fantastic bowls arena which is a great place for people to meet and play bowls to help keep fit. It is great for socialising. Now the Council in their wisdom are looking to get rid of the bowls green because of cost! Who are these people and what do they they are doing. Leave Gedling bowls centre alone!”
“We purchased our hot tub last month and have been absolutely overwhelmed by the professionalism shown by Chris and his team. From the initial showroom viewing to the site survey and ultimately the delivery and installation, the customer service has been exemplary. I would definitely recommend Hydropool Midlands to anyone looking to purchase a hot tub. Bravo.”
“My daughter joined Core Aquatics in September 2020 and I can honestly say, it's amazing and fantastic swimming school. My daughter is severely autistic, practically non verbal and has very restricted social communication skills but despite all of that Nicole and swimming teachers found unique way to teach and show the joys of swimming. From a child who was terrified to get inside a swimming pool she now enjoys her lessons, she can swim independently on her front, back (which she hated for long time), she even can dive underneath the water. Core Aquatics is one of the best things that happened in my daughters life, it's absolutely brilliant. Olga”
“I've had the pleasure of enrolling both my children, now aged 18 months and 4 years, at Puddle Ducks Nottingham, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we started, it was clear that Puddle Ducks prioritizes both fun and safety in their lessons. Over the past four years we've had several instructors – Pam, Alex, and Nicola – who are truly fantastic. Their patience, enthusiasm, and expertise creates a positive and encouraging learning environment. They are clearly passionate about what they do, and this shines through in their teaching. Both my children have made significant progress in their water confidence and I think regular swimming has helped a lot with their strength and physical development. The structured lessons and engaging activities have helped them develop essential swimming skills. I've been particularly impressed with how the lessons have translated into real-life safety skills. My younger child, especially, has benefited immensely, instinctively using the "turning onto her tummy" technique when climbing down from heights during everyday activities (like getting down from chairs, and at soft play). This alone has given me immense peace of mind. Puddle Ducks Nottingham has proven to be a very worthwhile investment in my children's safety and development. The combination of excellent instructors, a well-structured program, and a focus on water safety makes it a top choice for swimming lessons. I highly recommend Puddle Ducks Nottingham to any parent looking to start their child's swimming journey or wanting to build on confidence and skills in the water.”
“My kids really enjoyed their and learn a lot from Patrick (cricket coach) he is really talented and nice person”
“I go here pretty often and to say the gym membership price is low , the gym and the other facilities is top notch. Why waste 30 quid at david Lloyds when you can just come to this. AMAZING”
“Helpful staff, excellent facilities, great gym, fitness suite and spin/wattbike facilities. The sports hall floor is a big plus for badminton. Day time parking requires a little thought, bike parking excellent.”
“I attended the gym frequently until recently and I really enjoyed it. Family members go regularly and I’m starting my membership again. They have all different classes for different fitness levels. Swimming included and other activities just ask when signing up as the staff have always been pretty friendly and helpful. If you have any disabilities or struggle with physical fitness/injuries the staff have certain programs to accommodate this and are really attentive to your individual needs. Have always been very helpful with myself.”
“Good big park to roam around on with a running track and a kids play park they also have a small pond to sit by. And there is also a big leisure center with a big swimming pool with a gym inside. There is also a big car park which is free to park at.”
“This is a wonderful community leisure centre. The staff are extremely helpful, supportive and welcoming. Krishna's Yoga classes on a Wednesday and Thursday are very inspiring, calming and great for all levels. She has been a beautiful part of my yoga journey. It's a really positive, supportive place for the community and I always feel great after every visit.”
“We are lucky to have such an amazing leisure centre in the village! New manager Chris makes it all so much more welcoming for us and the kids! Really is a lovely community place to go... Hats off to you all brilliant job!”
“On holiday here visiting grandparents from Australia and have been made very welcome. Jordan has gone above and beyond to help me have access to the Keyworth leisure Center gym, which is great and has everything I need to stay fit. Highly recommend.”
“Fab place for little ones to swim in the learning pool and really lovely helpful staff.”
“A brief note to celebrate my grandson's very first swim with his mum. We would very much like to thank Maddie on Arena Reception, for her first class support and great good service. Maddie's engagement and professionalism helped turn this ordinary event into a special and memorable occassion for us all. A great day and wonderful introduction to swimming. Would recommend Rushcliffe Arena without reservation.”
