“Had a flu vaccination before booked via NHS app. Turned up for appointment and pharmacy closed at scheduled time for lunch! Wasted journey. Update changed from original 1* review - had a courtesy call from the pharmacist within a few days of posting this review very apologetic, as the NHS app did not take into account lunchtime closing. Offered a walk-in for the flu-jab. Very understanding and certainly changed my mind about any doubts about Awsworth Pharmacy. Unfortunately, the NHS is broken, kept afloat only by those who pick-up the pieces for the patients. Thanks again for getting back to me Awsworth Pharmacy - you didn't have to, but you did, because you care about patients :-). 5* service.”
“Great pharmacy, always friendly and efficient.”
“The friendliest pharmacy I’ve ever been to and Sat is the best pharmacist ever! She never minds the stupid questions and is always so happy to help. They deserve more than 5 stars!”
“Staff are absolutely brilliant and cannot do enough for you. Yes you might have to wait sometimes but under the circumstances I think there are more important things to worry about. All staff are extremely helpful and don't get the praise they deserve. Well done guys you are doing a great job under massive pressures”
“Very helpful staff, a young lady pharmacy student was very patient and polite with me and helped me a lot.”
“Despite other reviews I've found this pharmacy very helpful over the last 5 months. I collect my medication weekly and they text me each week when it's ready. Normally it's my GP who let me down and not the pharmacy.”
“Nice staff. Will use again if needed.”
“Can't belive all the stupid reviews on here, My wife has a terminal illness requires lots of medication and wells pharmacy have been really helpful, good opening hours and have medication that palliative care nurses have recommend. Yes they are busy at times, and sometimes you have to wait, but I'd rather they take their time and dispense accurately, and no they don't stock everything under the sun, but will always order it if required. If the staff are occasionally grumpy then I not surprised if they have to deal wigh some of the people leaving reviews on here!”
“One of the most trusted places you can go too. Really kind staff, no issues. All on point”
“The entrance has a ramp but definitely not wheelchair accessible, the gradient is too high. Will take photo next time there”
“Reviews are only low because only people with bad experiences will report it. I'm sure there are many people with good experiences but don't write it on google. I've seen the staff working very hard, they have tons of prescriptions coming in each day and each has to be checked vigorously to ensure they won't do harm to the patient as the GP doesn't always get it 100% right. If you have to wait or if they miss a phone call it's because they can't multitask everything at the same time, I've seen them non stop working and appreciate them for it.”
“Having read some poor reviews of this Chemist I did wonder if I 'd been wise choosing them for my repeat prescriptions. After phoning to confirm my prescription would be ready I was assured it would be. Upon arrival all was indeed ready to go. They even helped to make sure future prescriptions would be ready at the due date. I found the Staff to be pleasant and efficient. As it's right next door to the Medical Practice it could hardly be more convenient.”
“Staff were patient and immensely helpful when I was having issues with other services.”
