“Tramper so parked up at my time ,pay at service station, £7,50 meal voucher on ticket, got a huge all breakfast, yeah I done the lot well tastey highly recommended”
“So much choice, more like a street food place than an industrial estate kiosk. Food great, with good servings for the price, and friendly service. Pleasant seating area under the trees too.”
“What a lovely welcome local café, the staff and supper friendly and welcoming. The food is out of the most world too. Been here a few times now, so great for a late breakfast or a stop when out walking and a cheeky cake. There is 3 choices of seating, outside the café under the covered walk way, inside the café or in the back covered area where you can open a sliding door and hear the river go bye. Dog friendly and wife friendly too.”
“We came here for our nieces 18th birthday, we had the little bar to ourselves which was very nice the main bar looked good, and we would like to come back for a meal as we had some food provided which was really nice. Nice place to visit and we will be back again.”
“All good, very pleasant experience, nice breakfast, clean and tidy, definitely recommend”
“Transformation of the cafe is wonderful Faye was very helpful showing me how to use the touch screen menu service was excellent food was hot will be back”
“8 of us went for Sunday lunch, the food and service were amazing. The main highlights were the meat, I had the Beef but other members of the party had the Lamb and the Pork, all of us commentated on how good the meat was, the other highlights were the cauliflower cheese, which comes as standard, as does the yorksire puds and the unlimited gravy. Will most definitely be going again.”
“Absolute top-tier coffee. Have used them on and off for a few years now. Not sure why we ever stopped as the service and coffee is excellent. Really great range of organic coffee beans delivered to your door! The new Coast coffee is 10/10 and replaced as our favour to Baya (still a solid coffee though). Most recently had an issue with our subscription (due to Shopify messing with the cards) had to call them to sort and both the women I spoke with were really helpful. Got it sorted quickly and send the beans the next day. Great that it is roasted in the UK and seems that we get deliveries close the roast date for added freshness! 100% worth giving them a try, I think they sell a exploring/tasting pack (or used to)”
“Absolutely stunning spot in the village. We were a walk in on a Sunday. We had a delicious Sunday Roast, Beef cooked medium-rare (perfectly!!) & Pork with crackling. Followed by a generous sticky toffee pudding. Such a friendly and relaxed environment (I believe we sat in the snug) lovely characterful building but with beautiful lighting too. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Will definitely recommend and be back again in the future! ☺️”
“A very cosy cafe. Great hot chocolate and friendly service. They even stack the butter packets on top of the hot crumpets so they start melting.”
“I am down on holiday and popped in for lunch and have to say it was amazing, not only the food which was delicious but also the friendly service, I would highly recommend going here if you are in the area,”
“Friendly greeting as a visiting pool team, locals were jovial and interested in what was going on - which showed great camaraderie within the whole experience.”
“Hidden gem, this place. The landlord was nice and welcoming, as was the dog (and his turkey!). Beautiful beer garden with great views if you go up the top. Well worth a visit.”
“The Watermark is a brilliant venue. We have been to various show which were excellent. Parking is very easy, the staff are polite and friendly and the auditorium has good access and visibility.”
“Casual dining to the best standard. Superb inventive cooking ; excellent range of beers and ciders. None or low alcohol options well represented. Real nice pub doing pub really well. Absolutely worth a visit”

“1 of the best deli counters I have seen the shop is well stocked with lots of goodies and the staff are brilliant, try their home made homity pies and sausage rolls they are filling and tasty.”
“Gareth was friendly and helpful from as soon as I walked in the door, was really accommodating and nothing was too big a task. The bed was very comfy and the bath was just lovely in room 2. Very clean, and breakfast was done to my liking as I had asked. Absolute hidden gem will definetely recommend to others! Thank you!”
“We just stumbled upon this pub, whilst exploring the village a few Sundays ago, and asked we could have a lunch, met the owner who had recently taken over the pub, we sat in the bar because kit was last minute & the restaurant was full. We both had the roast & shared a cheese board, amazing food, well presented, good service, we will definitely return to sample the menu, and it was reasonable price, seems like they have a good chef, well done.”
“Had a Carvery there today, it was so tasty. I haven't been there since before lockdown and it's even tastier now. They had x2 meats on, which is ok for me but I know some prefer more choice. Staff were very cheery and pleasant. Definitely worth the trip from Plymouth.”
“My go-to place for great food, always hot and full of flavour. Everyone at Meghna is very friendly and the service is excellent. Great options for vegetarians as well as meat eaters! Highly recommended!”
“We parked up our campervan (by prior arrangement with Tina) and had a lovely evening in the pub. Great food & super friendly hosts. would highly recommend.”

“It has been nicely refurbished, and has a really good atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. The new Guv'nor Dave is a decent guy who knows how to run a Pub”
“Went here to buy base layer tops. Really pleased Craghappers sale kitted out whole family. Then into Jolly's for pet food. Saves me going to town. Staff at till very on point. Being ex retail appreciate their hard work.”
“Another parcel arrived - within 2 days of placing my order - beautifully wrapped up in grey satin ribbon - care taken in writing the address and as always a compliments slip personally written hoping I will like my purchase and thanking me for my custom. Cannot think of another place that shows they care as much!”
“They sell the most delicious cakes - the salted caramel brownies were heavenly, so good we went in the morning and then returned again in the afternoon. The iced coffee tasted like burnt caramel and sweeter than i'd usually have, but it was very nice and hit the spot. The lady was friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to go locally. Worth a visit if you're in the area...or even a diversion if you have a sweet tooth!”
