“Just returned from uni in Bristol and had my exstentions done, they are soooo nice. They are human hair and look amazing. I am really pleased with the lovely feel of this salon and the results of my hair. They really seem to make everything a personalised experience. I also went on the sunbed whilst at my hair appointment and I have to say out of all the beds in Bristol and Plymouth I have been on, It is by far the best. I only had 6 minutes and felt like I had spent a week in the Caribbean. Thanks guys, will defo come back. X”

“We went for a spa day here on New Year's Day and it was the best spa day we've ever had! The range of pools, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas was outstanding (we especially loved the outdoor whirlpool that you could swim to from inside the main pool hall, and the private hot tub accessible off one of the relaxation rooms); the food served as part of the lunch package was excellent quality; and the massages were out of this world, the hot stone all-body massage from Christy being the best I've ever had! My only negative comment is for some reason the spa doesn't allow you to select your lunch and treatment times via their website ... or should I say, they DO let you choose them, but they don't honour them – they say the treatment times are only finalised on the morning of the day itself ... meaning you could plan your day around arriving late, having a late lunch and having your treatments in the afternoon ... only to arrive and find your treatments were booked in for first thing (or you could quite conceivably miss them altogether if you didn't arrive early enough). We've never had this at a spa before (we've always been able to book lunch and treatment times in advance) and don't understand why they operate in this manner, especially as their website allows you to select specific times for both lunch and the treatments ... hopefully they remove this unnecessary limitation in the future, as it rather took the shine off the excitement leading up to the day. This aside, we still both left feeling the most relaxed and pampered we'd felt in a long time, and whenever we're next in the area we'll certainly be visiting again!”

“Great friendly and inclusive gym, classes for everyone and cafe. The swimming pool is very warm, which is wonderful for babies and small children. I've been here for years and enjoyed different classes. There's a thriving squash community here that I know nothing about and swimming lessons that are well taught and organised.”

“I’ve never been to Plymouth before but I came up for a works trip away, I was in desperate need of a hair cut and was very worried about where to go until I found this gem! 10 minute walk from my hotel, 10/10 service and a 10/10 hair cut, if I ever come back to Plymouth, best believe I’ll be here again, 100% recommend.”

Very helpful and friendly staff, would be nice if the hotel management put a tip jar for the bar staff etc, paid £104 for the night booked directly, could have paid £90 if booked through a website, would have been nice to pay the lower rate as I was booking direct so no middle men etc. All in all a great hotel and well located with decent staff and customer service, will certainly visit again.”

“Great set up, pools are both great, outside one in good weather is like being on holiday. Classes are very good and the instructors I have met are great (Kev Cardio Tennis top chap) it’s always clean and tidy. Gym Area is small for the size of the building, but apart from January never struggled to get on what I want. Kids have been to a few clubs and enjoy them. Very happy member.”

“I love this place. I've been coming here since its Cannons days 20 years ago. Some of the staff from then are still here and they are all lovely, friendly, fun, helpful, supportive. Kay is quite new, but she is the best! Tim's Spinning classes are SO motivating! And Tyrell's Combat is a killer but so much fun they are worth the hard work! Why don't you do food though? A nice healthy meal after Spinning or Combat would go down a treat.”
