“My partner and I were recently looking for our first home, we found one home we had an interest in that was unfortunately already let by the Chapples, however, they then contacted us regarding the home we are now in. Karen and Darren were both brilliant, they provided as much detail as possible and kept us completely updated during the whole process. They were extremely responsive after we had put our application in for the house, whom got back to us within 3 days to tell us the house was ours. It was a very quick turn around, from viewing the house to moving in within a two week time frame and that was all thanks to them for being so proactive. We 100% recommend using them and we really couldn’t thank them enough for the excellent service in which we received. Thank you again Darren and Karen”
“Needing to sell family home on behalf of father we researched our different options and had meeting with three local estate agents and one online agency. We compared the services, charges and valuations before making our choice. Although online agents may seem attractive given there relatively low charges which they want up front you really do get what you pay for. We decided to go with Bradley’s as they have a high street presence, open and available six days a week, know the local area and have database of potential buyers. Having made our choice we could not have been happier, the house was quickly marketed and sold almost instantly and at 25k over our asking price. Bradley’s managed the EPC and buyers survey all we had to do was empty the house, sale progressed quickly with regular updates from Bradley’s. Iain Christie and his team were friendly and helpful and made what could have been a very stressful time easy. We would definitely recommend and know we made the right choice.”
“We would highly recommend Fox and Sons Saltash (particularly to any first-time buyers who are as clueless as we are!). Dylan has been extremely conscientious, approachable and informative throughout the process, understanding our requirements and going the extra mile to assist and reassure us. Our mortgage advisor Graham has also been a massive help, making a complicated process feel very straightforward and ensuring our purchase has progressed efficiently. Ryan, who was our initial contact when we first approached Fox and Sons, was very friendly and helpful. As a team, they have been absolutely brilliant and we cannot thank them enough. We would most definitely use Fox and Sons again.”
“Cannot praise Belvoir enough. We had along drawn out move that took 8 months, thankfully we had Marie and Alex fighting our corner. Marie especially was absolutely amazing and kept on at everybody involved in the chain to speed things up on a day to day basis. Would thoroughly recommend Belvoir to anybody looking to sell their home. First class service especially as we were the buyers not the sellers.”
“Always very accommodating, our girl loves spending time there, she gets plenty of fuss and exercise and very reasonable price.thank you!”
“My wife and I and our 1 year old Staffie stayed for one night, I chose the room on the booking app and to be honest it worked out just right. We arrived later than expected and ordered a burger king meal, would of preferred a Chinese though. I'm disabled so not sure what the room offered but on entering the room we found that the bathroom was equipped with disability aids to help getting into the bath, off the toilet and grab rails on the wall, very impressed that they have thought of those who have extra needs to help them. The main room was a good size and the bed unlike others was not as high to get on and off of. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly even with the puppy. The only downside was people walking up and down the corridor at stupid O'clock in the morning laughing and banging which set the puppy off barking and growling at the door. Plenty of parking spaces and a quiet area.”
“This has become my local now. Staff, people are so friendly. Have had many a good night dancing to the music. Beer garden when the weather is warm gets packed and everyone seems to enjoy themselves.”
“Excellent kennels, very secure. Our Basset hound Dylan has stayed several times and we have always had an excellent service. I recommend Grove Nurseries to anyone who needs a kennel. Thank you!”
“Great service. Paul helped us rent our first home and he was an outstanding estate agent from start to finish. Any questions we had he replied very fast and was really helpful with anything we needed a hand with. Really friendly guy made the whole process easy and stress free.”
“Had our Lakeland Terrier, Raye, here for two separate weeks this year. Cracking kennels. Lovely staff, very professional and Raye comes home tired but in great shape.”
“Absolutely stunning Venue. Chrissy and Sam have created a beautiful space in this gorgeous setting. The Four Elements Team loved working in the perfectly equipped kitchens to provide our couples with their wedding breakfast and private dinning experience. We highly recommend Pentillie & very much look forward to returning. Lily & The Four Elements Team x”
“My partner booked this as a birthday getaway for me and it couldn’t have been more perfect. A wonderful experience in the most peaceful setting - we stayed in the Wollemia pod and the horses on the field next door kept us company. The whole garden (and pod) is sustainable and eco-friendly which we loved. We made use of the fire pit which was lovely and warm under the stars. We also treated ourselves to massages and both felt so relaxed afterwards. There were other glampers during our stay but the pods are all cleverly laid out so no one bothers anyone. A very highly recommended stay - thank you Dan and Victoria!”
“Just returned from my latest stay with railholiday. Have been visiting for many years and stayed in each of the carriages at St Germans. This trip was a return to Millpool with has one of best views overlooking the Cornish countryside. In all this time the holiday experience has been more than 5 star and Lizzy and Dave continue to be the perfect hosts - not intrusive but always there for help and advice. The carriages are always clean and cosy (even in January) and everything works! I plan on a second visit this year, so thanks for having me… ERIC G (Hertfordshire)”
“We were looking for somewhere very dog friendly and with EV chargers, Kernock Cottages did not disappoint. Our standard poodle Theodore had a great week, the enclosure areas allowed him to run around freely. We used the hot tub every day, superb to watch the sun go down. Very relaxing. Great pub within 15 minutes walk, some nice vegetarian food options. We visited 2 of the dog friendly beaches and did a few walks as we were fortunate to get great weather in April. Highly recommended.”
“Staff were second to none and the whole site was spotless Our one bedroom cottage was exceptionally clean, spacious with an open plan living dining and a kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher and washing machine! Upstairs the large bedroom had king size comfortable bed with loads of storage plus a bathroom with bath and shower. If that wasn't enough there was a separate toilet. The outside space at front was great with patio table and bench seats and private enough. For us the location was easy to get to off the A38 and just over an hour from all the places we wanted to visit. My husband is not one for travelling/sightseeing but for him to say he would stay there again says it all. A peaceful place to chill out and not venture far if you don't want to. Enough places to do food shopping within a3-milee radius. We didn't take advantage of the bonus of access to nearby leisure facilities so can't comment.”
“We bought from Scott parry , the service received was exemplary , a very professional team who dealt with any questions and issues we had promptly and helped every step of the way would definitely recommend.”
“We had an amazing night at The Ferry House on Saturday for our works Christmas night out .... atmosphere, food, service and staff were all brilliant and really made our night enjoyable. Proper little pub, warm welcoming , good food and you can hear yourself talk :)”
“What a gem! We spent a few weeks travelling in the UK and this was by far the best b&b we stayed in. Richard and Sarah were so accommodating, and the food was incredible. Sarah even made us a G&T to have in the garden which was extra special. We hope we can return one day!”
“This is an incredibly authentic pub with bucket loads of character (decor, chef and bar staff). The food blows anything from your “usual local pub” out of the water. Had scallops, kind prawns and fish goujons with lovely crusty brown bread. The special beer on tap was a real treat. Atmosphere at 8pm on a Tuesday was quiet and cosy (candle light type vibe) but got lively at 9.30pm when the locals farmers arrived, who were all nice. If you are a city prince or princess this might not be for you…. but in my opinion this is a real hidden gem.”
“We had a pleasant 4-night stay at Notter Mill Country Park in February. Our main reason for the visit was to see family, and the comfortable bed & modern kitchen in our accommodation was a definite plus. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the place. The hot tub was a highlight for us - it was well-maintained and very hot. Another cozy touch was the lovely log fire that added to our overall experience. However, we did encounter some minor issues. Adjusting the shower temperature was a bit tricky, and the muddy grounds due to the wet weather made getting in and out the car a pain, but the wet weather can’t be helped. We would definitely consider staying at Notter Mill Country Park again in the future.”
“Notter bridge is a great location; central to many great beaches and nature trails - perfect for the summer! We did have the weather on our side, which allowed us to fully explore the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Looe, Polperro, Batham and Golitha falls! Willow lodge was immaculately presented and fully kitted out. The hot tub was an added bonus to come back to after a long day at the beach! Yes, Willow lodge is close to the road (as other reviews had mentioned) but it did not bother us at all, even myself as a light sleeper! Our host Jonathan, came to greet us on arrival and was more than helpful throughout our stay! All in all, a fab week away at Notter Bridge, which we have already recommended to friends!”
“We found this place randomly and it was a gem of a find. We were driving around looking for someone to grab a bite and saw the sign on the main road and thought let's have a gander. The front of the pub has lovely flowers in hanging baskets and was pretty. The service at the bar was fast and friendly. We ordered and had drinks in our hands within 5 minutes of walking in. We just ordered cheesy chips but they were top notch. No complaints from us here. The outside area was lovely to sit out in the sun.”
“I'm reviewing based on both the Aqua spa and the afternoon tea! The spa is great. Very reasonable priced, given more than enough time to enjoy the facilities. They don't overcrowd the spa so that you aren't able to enjoy it. Lots of different areas to experience and relax in. Access to the pool which is great. Changing rooms are lovely. Offer lockers, costume dryers & hair dryers. Showers also have soap. Overall - great. Afternoon tea (best I've had). Sandwiches were lovely, scones were the best I had ever tasted. Perfect combination of fluffy but with a little crunch. I'm sure the jam was home made? Perfectly sweet and I don't like jam so that says a lot! Carrot cake pot was gorgeous, little caramel tort was delicious and the white chocolate/lemon fancie was stunning!! Presentation was great, customer service was very good and the servers kept our water and tea topped up!! Only points would be, probably another sandwhich? A lot more sweet then savoury options! I wasn't to keen on the rocky road but that's a preference I believe!! I've been twice now to do both and will be back again.”
“Visited here as part of the Discovery Project women's retreat. Loved every second. Recommend it wholeheartedly. The yurt was lovely. The peacocks and ducks were so cute. Hot tub was nice too! Food was delicious!! All vegan and gluten free. A dreamy place to be.”
“Absolutely loved our stay in fir cottage. Everything we needed was there, hours drive to most of the places we wanted to visit. Great relaxing time in the cottage and hot tub. Dogs had a great time in the secure garden and a walk around the woods and field. Highly recommend a break at woodside”
“This place is amazing! It's located in rural Landrake and is in an isolated area! The house is gorgeous and very homely. The driveway is made from stones so those of you traveling by motorcycle be wary as I nearly dropped mine! We were welcomed warmly by the lady owner who was very interested in our motorcycles which is usually a rare occurance from hosts. We stayed in the Lynn something (Lyndhurst?) room and it was gorgeous the bed was nice the room and bathroom was clean and beautiful! The WiFi was related leaking with a 0.5mbp speed however the O2 4g is plentiful! The breakfast was also good, she's a great cook! However was rather lacking in quantity only 1x of everything. In conclusion great place with great people with nice scenic surroundings. The price for the room is fantastic for the value.”
“Nice friendly and well situated BnB, great place just outside of town . Within walking distance to the nearest pub”
“We didn't stay here, but passed through for a pint and lunch and it's a wonderfully cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere and friendly service. The food we had was also delicious. Well worth a visit!”
“Beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. Visited for a friend's wedding. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and well furnished. As a guest there is access to the pools and sauna. I enjoyed a quiet morning swim. It is a very popular golf course, although not what I came for. Highly recommended for events, a weekend stay, the Health Club or to enjoy the high quality golf course. I didn't check out the spa on this occasion. Next time!”
“After arriving at the crooked inn me and my partner was welcomed by a lovley young lady who showed us to our room after telling us where breakfast would be in the morning. And told us the restaurant was still open and as soon as we are ready to pop back and she would take our orders. Absolutely wonderful food. Will certainly go back again”
