“Stayed here when visiting family. We arrived early, there was a room ready and we were able to check in, the receptionist was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, with tea & coffee supplied, but unable to fit the large kettle under tap. The room was very warm but the heating wasn't on. The hotel is in a great location off the A27 We had breakfast on our last morning, it was freshly cooked and hot . We visit the area a couple of times a year and will definitely come back.”

“Briar Glen is a lovely bed and breakfast. My mum and I shared the back bedroom with the king sized bed. The bed has a memory foam mattress and is comfy. The room is a really good size and has been recently renovated. The ensuite bathroom is large providing a single wardrobe (plenty big enough for a good length of stay), large walk in shower, toilet and sink. Shampoo etc provided too which is great! The room is very clean and kept very clean during your entire stay. We haven't had breakfast so cannot comment on this. Thank you so much for making our stay so warm and welcome.”

“Our stay at Solent View over the past few weeks was amazing, the apartment is highly furnished and spotless. Views across the Solent towards Isle of Wight can be seen from the lounge. Just a few minutes stroll to Hill Head beach and marina where you will find a super petite cafe for delicious coffee and cakes. Solent Breeze cafe a minute from the apartment has a great selection for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend this beautiful apartment, where dogs are made very welcome too. Carey is a fabulous host. Friendly and communicates really well at all times. Jackie too is a great credit to Solent View by keeping the apartment spotless for all visitors.”

“Popped in for an early dinner recently and had a really warm greeting. We didn’t have a booking but they managed to accommodate us and our 10 month old (high chair was available).
