“I am studying sports coaching and development level 3. I really enjoy the people and teachers at BCA they really encourage you and help with coursework when you need it. They also help to make you feel confident around your class in coaching. The teachers at BCA have really helped me to find my confidence and have lots of experiences coaching your class, which really makes you feel more confident. I also do football and the coaches are really encouraging and help you to develop on your football. I would 100% recommend this college it is really good for development and helped with my confidence.”

“Has a swimming pool, sports hall (badminton/ basket ball) and a studio for things like dance lessons etc. It's got decent amount of parking too. Cost wise, it's a bit above the average. But given the kind of facilities available, I dont mind.”

“Host to numerous decently large lecture theatres and classrooms. Seating is comfortable but a little cramped if you're big boned. Friendly staff, café next door and there are computer rooms free to use for students.”

“Under Kelly's leadership, the nursery became a fantastic environment for my eldest child. She's loved every minute and still talks about all her experiences. The staff, especially Hannah, has made a lasting impression on her. I've even had to cook like David or the food will not be eaten at home! With its Good Ofsted rating recently, I am sure the nursery will continue to provide such a wonderful experience for other children. Thank you for everything you have done for our eldest. We look forward to seeing our little girl thrive with you in September 2025 when she joins the nursery family! Unfortunately since Kelly has left the nursery it seems to have gone down hill!!! Be wary!”

“This is an amazing nursery. My son has been going since January and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and caring, and they really pay attention to the individual needs of the child. No ask is ever too much for them. The outdoor space is great and they spend alot of time outside which is something I love about the nursery. They also do lots of different activities such as painting and creative play. They dealt with the recent shutdown exceptionally well, and I have complete confidence in all the measures they have put in place since reopening, always prioritising both the needs of the children and the necessary safety measures.”

“My daughter attended Leighton Park From Year 8 to Year 11. She had an absolutely fantastic experience, and they gave her the most fantastic support with her dyslexia. She came as a young person with incredibly low self esteem due to her additional needs but left with enormous confidence, pride and 7 level 9 GCSEs, 2 level 8s an A* and a distinction* in a BTEC. She is now studying 4 A levels at college and is on a program to apply for Oxbridge and is seriously considering a career in politics. None of this would have been possible without the care and attention She received at LP. Their Individual Learning Centre where help is given to students with specific learning difficulties is top notch. Even more important than the qualifications is the sense of community and responsibility that my daughter learnt whilst there. All of the teachers genuinely care. We were so grateful when Covid hit, with how swiftly they put in to action on the line learning . She was Year 10 and taught every day. The pastoral care shines at this place. If you are considering Leighton Park for your son or daughter, I cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“I would say that Pangbourne is a wonderful, supportive School that creates amazing opportunities for its pupils and encourages them to reach their own personal goals in a nurturing, team spirited environment. We have a girl in the sixth form and a boy who has just joined and both are blossoming and flourishing each day. Their confidence in themselves and with others has grown and they are excelling academically and in extra curricular activities. Best decision we have made.”

“Amazing Chinese food with the new owner taking over a few months ago. Neighbourhood-friendly. I was feeling ill and the owner was kind enough to prepare an off-menu beef noodle soup for me — warm and delicious. Ordered the set menu for 2 people and the food was great, especially the beef, spare ribs, and the fish cake!”

“My son has been at this nursery for a year and I can't fault it at all. He has never once been upset to go in even from his first day as the lovely ladies made him feel so welcome and secure. Communication is excellent with a thorough handover at each pick up and my son always has stories to tell about the games he's played with the grown ups. We'll be so sad to wave goodbye when he's off to school next year. Special mention to the ladies in bumbles who my little boy adores!”

“Just ate my fourth delivery (in 2 yrs) & felt compelled to rate our best Chinese takeaway in the area!! Food was delicious, after a previous review, i opted for the crispy chilli beef (delish) & my base options of mushroom chow mean & large spring roll (100%).. fancied to try something new to my usual & asked the very plesent staff for a recommendation & so had the chicken schilian style.... amazing. .. will definitely have it again. Also delivery prompt & friendly.. definitely my go to Chinese takeaway!”
