“What a treat! We had never heard of this place until today, we booked for 5.30 and were welcomed with the most delicious smell of meats smoking. Firstly we sampled cider to see which we wanted to drink, we chose the peach then We had the pit tray and the tapas for 1, both came out after about ten minute wait and what a treat it was! Hot Smokey Crispy meats more than you can eat. We shall be back very soon with a few extra people to show them what we have all been missing! The staff went all out for us tonight and made us feel really welcome thank you!”

It’s great to see so much being planned over Christmas — the place already feels festive, and you can tell they’ve put real thought into creating something special for everyone. I’m especially looking forward to the comedy night in January. If it’s anything like their past events, it’s going to be a fantastic evening. “Awesome venue for live music, the small stage and pit is great for intimate gigs, especially when you see a band that are gonna be massive and they're literally dripping sweat on you”

“It doesn't serve food but it's still a great pub with friendly staff and fellow drinkers also had a singer on and disco. The prices are on par with witherspoons.”

“We had a fantastic time in here over the weekend for a retirement do and whilst visiting family. The drinks were perfect, well prepared with expert service behind the bar from staff who were friendly and offered great advice on what went with what. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend whether for a quick visit or a longer evening in. We'll be back!”

“This is by far the best ever Chinese me and my husband have ever had, it's not just one thing that is outstanding here it's everything between the staff being absolutely amazing and welcoming, to the food that is just something you can't get out of your head, then the atmosphere of the place is spot on nice and open with a cozy atmosphere and finally the price well let's just say eating in or out the food is amazingly priced if you eat in it is slightly cheaper and with it being all you can eat well it's a no brainer, between all of this it all keeps me and my husband coming back.”

“Visited this afternoon for Sunday carvery since it has new been taken over by Kevin and his family! The carvery was unreal, so many different things to choose from, 4 different meats (you get nice thick cuts of meat, not just thin pieces!). The environment and staff were also great. I would definitely recommend visiting!!”

“First time at this pub and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the car park, internal areas and toilets. I had the carvery which was hot and well cooked. The staff member who served me was called Sophie she was polite, friendly yet professional. Even during the meal I was asked if everything was OK. Will definitely come back.”
