“As a regular visitor, I genuinely enjoy the experience of going to the Eco-Power Stadium, home of Doncaster Rovers. It's a venue that truly feels like a modern home for the club and a great place to watch the football. The stadium's facilities are top-notch. Having moved from the old Belle Vue, the Eco-Power Stadium is a breath of fresh air. The seats are comfortable, and crucially, the sightlines from pretty much anywhere in the ground are excellent. You feel close to the action without being cramped, which is a significant improvement on many older grounds. There's plenty of legroom, even for taller individuals, which is a small but often overlooked detail that makes a big difference over 90 minutes. The general cleanliness and upkeep of the stadium are also commendable. From the concourses to the toilets, everything always appears well-maintained and tidy. This contributes significantly to a pleasant matchday experience, rather than feeling like you're in a neglected facility. I particularly appreciate the modern amenities. The food and drink kiosks are efficient, reducing long queues, and while stadium food can be pricey everywhere, the quality here is decent enough for a matchday snack. Access to and from the stadium is also relatively straightforward, with good road links and ample parking, even if you need to factor in a bit of a walk from some car parks. For me, the atmosphere generated by the Rovers faithful, particularly in the Black Bank (South Stand), truly makes the Eco-Power Stadium come alive on matchdays. While it's a modern bowl design, which some argue can mute sound, when the crowd gets going, it can be incredibly loud and passionate, creating a proper home advantage. It’s a place where you feel part of something bigger, cheering on your team. Beyond football, it's clear the stadium is a multi-purpose venue, and it hosts various events throughout the year. This versatility is good for the town and ensures the facility is well-utilized. The "Eco-Power" branding, while purely a sponsorship, also subtly aligns with Doncaster's broader environmental goals, adding a modern and somewhat forward-thinking feel to the place. In short, the Eco-Power Stadium provides a consistently enjoyable and comfortable environment to watch Doncaster Rovers. It’s a well-designed, well-maintained, and well-run venue that truly enhances the matchday experience. It’s not just a place to watch a game; it's a proper modern home for the club that I genuinely like visiting.”

“Booked my daughter's birthday party here and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful and the party food was great. Would definitely recommend. Booked the enchanted side room for when the kids were eating and it was fab.”

“We had our childs birthday party here and it was great, the place was big enough for us to have a bouncy castle inside and the kids went nuts. We had been let down by one bouncy castle hire place and it was suposed to be a disco bouncy castle. When Andy found out that we had been let down by the hire company he told me to use their sound system. It was even better for the adults as they opened the bar for us too, so the adults and children were all happy. I would use this place again. The room hire was £12 an hour. great price and we had the use of the conservatory too.”

“Last night I was the caller with the J J Galway ceilidh band at a 40th birthday party held upstairs in the Assembly Rooms. We had a great time, even if the only "beer" available was John Smith's at £3.60 a pint. The venue is a little hard to find, but repays the effort.”

A special mention to Catherine Crofts who has not only taken care of our bookings for The Green Training Room, but has also gone above and beyond with the provision made for our staff, guests and volunteers, in terms accessibility and help with lost property on more than one occasion. “Excellent Sunday lunch. Nice pub with a traditional pub feel, and a dining room facing onto a nice pub garden. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good. Had the trio roast which was tasty. Portion size was excellent (big). Roast had I think three meats, stuffing, roasties, mash, parsnip, carrots, cabbage, leeks and I think peas. Excellent value at 19 quid. I also had a side of pigs in blankets which I really didn't need but where also good. Whilst we don't have dogs, also loved the free doggie treats and water bowls for four legged friends as nice touch you don't often see. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going again.”

“We had prom at this stadium and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and there was space for everyone. Each group had their own table and we received free drinks. However, the non-free drinks like the Coca-Cola was expensive. £3.50 for a pint.”

“I used the lift for my party of 3people to visit upstairs area of next,made a couple of purchases from the sale shelfs,found the lady on the till very pleasant & jolly to say she was having to work on boxing day ! ..we then went across into costa for a cuppa, which was quite busy,counter serving staff were very pleasant & even later gave table service delivery with our toasts & tea cake order after our drinks were made ! .....Only down side was the rude lady pensioner with a walking stick who barged in & set up camp on 1 of the 2 tables we already had wile i was @ the counter , forcing 3 of us round a table for 2 with our drinks ,luckily a larger table for 3 came available for us to move before the hot food arrived , why do these old folk think they have the rite over everyone else who's younger ? it beats me how rude & arrogant they can be .”

“Great for every age group. Adults can go on everything with the children too. There is food and drinks to buy, bit expensive but everything is nowadays. The decor is amazing. The dinosaurs move too and very realistic. The price is worth it and you get the full 2 hours. Highly recommended.”

“Attended a function here recently. I liked it. The function room was a decent size and well laid out. Bar well stocked with decent menu too for snacking (nuggets and chips etc). Hardworking pleasant staff. Nice outdoor area. All in all not bad at all”

“Kids love it but today we had lunch it something we always do but no more one Sausage and 10 chips for 3.95 the same went for the chicken nuggets 4 nuggets 10 chips and one adult chip which was so small I think they must have dropped half of them next.time we go.home for lunch”
