βAn amazing place full of history and beauty. Went to a pea and pie supper, caterers efficient and pies delicious. Staff at bar courteous. Great fund raising night.β
βGreat few hours out for kids and big kids too. Cafes ok, pizzas quite decent. Good range of snacks and I like the coffee. Big space for play. Little lad enjoyed hide and swekβ

βFirst time visiting. Great stadium. Looked clean & tidy, no litter around. Staff around the ground and inside were very friendly, smiley & polite. Brilliant atmosphere for the women's euros 2022 quarter final. Close to Rotherham interchange for car parking and public transport.β
βExcellent service. The team are amazing. We were made very welcome by Lynne and her team. We will definitely be rebooking for our Christmas family meal next year. Customer service is the key and I was extremely impressed with each and every member of the team. It felt like one big happy family and such a great atmosphere.β
βExceptional Wedding Venue! Worth every penny. Our guests were blown away by the venue - itβs like having your own private magical forest for the weekend. The staff were great and really open to allowing us to use the space how we wanted. We couldnβt have asked for anything more.β
βWe had a fantastic day out at the John Fretwell Complex watching a cricket match. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything a cricket fan could ask for. The ground was well-maintained, providing excellent viewing from all angles. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food and drink options were plentiful, catering to all tastes and ensuring we were well-fed throughout the day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the John Fretwell Complex for any cricket match.β

βWe held our diamond wedding there today. It was a warm and welcoming environment. The range of food and its preparation were outstanding. All our guests commented most favourably on the food and the setting, Jim, the young steward, was most helpful and prepared everything we asked for. Lots of choice for our guests. Highly recommend.β
βFantastic experience hosting our sonβs 4th birthday party here. Super friendly staff, well prepared, lovely food and extremely helpful. Could not be better. Thank you brilliant teamβ
βIf you are thinking of a soft play party for your little one, don't look any further than Play - World Explorers. Kira and Charlotte did the most amazing job at giving my 2 year old the party of dreams. They decorated the tables for me (win) they were brilliant with the communication and were so helpful throughout the party too, cutting up and boxing cake. The soft play area in itself is just beautiful, and absolutely perfect for the little ones as it's all so safe and you can see them easily enough without having to follow them around constantly like most play areas. The little bubble dance session at the end is also a perfect touch. I honestly can't thank you enough for the best couple of hours for our little girl.β
βAlways a good variety on both floors. Nearly every time I've been, I found a good bargain. Staff are helpful, and a reasonable pricing structureβ
ββWe had an amazing experience at Party Hall! spacious, and perfect for event. The staff was professional and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly.β

βI came for the Garden Show, it was great. Lots of stalls around and things to see. There were multiple shows going on the same day so it was busy, but, well managed and easy to navigate and park. The staff were Very polite and friendly with a welcoming smile and the toilet facilities, although very busy, were cleaner than expected. A great time was had and I will be going back again. (Pictures of some of the plants I picked throughout the day)β
βI booked a party here for my 6 year old. Great venue, clean and well kept facilities. Food was good, home made pizza certainly went down well. Great comments about the venue from the other parents. Highly recommend.β
βWe went to Jelly Beans today with my four year old and nearly one year old and it was perfect. It is by far the best soft play weβve been to for smaller kiddos. No fears about them being trampled by older kids, you can easily see all areas of the safe, clean soft play from the tables, the coffee is excellent (served in ceramic flasks to keep them warmer for longer while you follow your kids around) - just a lovely, thoughtful place to spend a good few hours. Thank you so much!β
βAtkinson's is one of Sheffield's gems, situated on The Moor. It's an independent department store that's been around for over 150 years. They've got all the usual department store products for your home such as clothes, soft furnishings, kitchenware, electricals, luggage, fragrances, gift items etc. Some may think it's old fashioned and I would agree, but only in the sense that it caters for shoppers in a personal way which seems to have been lost these days. Staff are always polite and available (but not pushy), allowing you to browse at your own pace. The only compromise they've made is to have concessions such as Grape Tree, Nankivells and Caffe Massarella but they fit in well. I visited one of their eateries, Angelica's Tea and Cake, upstairs which has a great selection of savoury and sweet items to have with a range of drinks. They cater for a variety of diets and, when I spoke to them about their gluten free options, they were very friendly and knowledgeable leaving me feeling confident about dining there. Atkinsonsβs has outlived former rivals in Sheffield, so it's doing something right!β
βAlways a great service my go to barber..β
βIdeal for young children to explore and role play. Lovely cafe, friendly and helpful staff.β
βThe National Videogame Museum is a fantastic place to visit, especially if you grew up playing classic games. They have a great collection of old, traditional arcade and console games that instantly bring back childhood memories. Itβs a real nostalgia trip and also a lot of fun for anyone new to retro gaming. What I really liked is that thereβs no time limit on how long you can stay, so you can take your time exploring and playing as much as you like. Just note they do close briefly for lunch, but itβs easy enough to plan around. The facilities are good too, with toilets available on-site, which makes it convenient if youβre spending a few hours there. Overall, itβs a fun and unique activity for both adults and kids, and Iβd happily recommend it for a day out.β
βMy daughter and her partner held their wedding here. It is a fantastic venue for any occasion Nice big venue. Lovely outside areas. The manager made them so welcome and was incredibly helpful. A great place for any kind of celebration. Very reasonable price.β
