“These guys do the best coffee in Crookes (Whaletown is also great). Warm & welcoming vibes.”
“Friendly little cafe, only had a cuppa so can't say much about the food. Other customers looked to be enjoying their breakfasts with gusto.”
“This café is right up there for lots of reasons and if you haven't been, do it now! I thought I had been to the entire variety of cafés that Sheffield has to offer, but you could have knocked me down with a feather when I walked in. Jazz funk music playing, Dahl Of The Day on the menu and a range of herbal teas to out-do Holland & Barrett. The place has a wood-burner, punching out a warm welcome and the quirkiest of seating, with memorabilia in every corner. We sampled the coffee, lemon and ginger tea, homemade cake... one guten-free and we loved it... We'll be back!”
“After leaving my wallet at home this morning I managed to scrape some change together for a bottle of water out of the car. Nipped into this lovely coffee shop. Mentioned this to this friendly guy while we was talking and he offered me some food and said pay me back tomorrow. I kindly refused as I did bring some lunch with me . Just wanted to say, What a lovely guy. Nice to see there is still some good people left on this planet. God bless.”
“Lovely gem of a place. Absolutely delicious food, beautiful decor, very reasonably priced, friendly staff. Great vibe to the place, will definitely be returning. As a side note, I really appreciated seeing the free sanitary products in the (immaculate) bathroom. Thank you for thinking of that!”
“Beautiful little cafe, lovely staff, the prettiest mugs as well! Would highly recommend this cafe. Breakfast was really tasty too!”
“Fantastic!! Super friendly staff, clean and pretty dining area. The food was superb, came out quickly and it was well presented. Good sizes and the drinks were genuinely brilliant too! A genuinely lovely hidden jewel of Sheffield. 5 star service!! Thank you!”
“Always such nice food & staff, been coming ever since it opened & one of the few places you can get an all day breakfast after 11am”
“Whenever we're in Sheffield we love to visit Bragazzis. We were there today for coffee and just love the atmosphere and friendly efficient service. Looking forward to dropping in again soon and trying one of their enormous croissants!”
“Excellent breakfast place, lovely food and friendly service. Fresh food, cooked to perfection”
“We had a lovely time at Cornerstone, lovely food, and all the staff were friendly with good service, especially Harriet and AK. They were brilliant with our dietary requirements, will definitely come again.”
“We have recently discovered Mai Thai and eaten once in the cafe and once at home. Both were absolutely beautiful. Devoured by the whole family and everyone said it was the best Thai food we'd ever had. Great value. Great food. Friendly service. Wonderful!”
“I was in rotherham for a mental health first aid course and stumbled upon hygge. lovely little cafe with cheap breakfast options, plenty of board games and a very welcoming atmosphere!!”
“Nelly loved her first visit to Cafe Nellie. The hot chocolates were so nice and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be back.”
“Lovely bacon sandwich and pork pate. Will definitely be going back to try the breakfast.”
“We called in today to support this new venture and although one of the owners is my sister I like to think my review is honest and unbiased, Debra and June have got everything spot on the décor is brilliant and the Coffee and cream scones we had were worth the drive up from Leicester. Well done both of you, with the hard work and thought that you've obviously put into providing a nice experience for customers you deserve to be a success.”
“Just had a omlett, chips and beans. It was lovely, surprised the cafe was not busy. I know where to come back to when I'm in the area. 10/10.”
“We did the wreath making last Christmas and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and made everyone feel welcome. The cakes were delicious and we can’t wait to book for this year! We will also be looking out for the Halloween event as my daughter will love it!”
“Very good service good food freindly staff.nice and warm inside.”
“I look forward to getting my morning coffee from Pumpkin on platform 2 because Mousumi is just so friendly and efficient! She's always smiling and happy to help and we always have a bit of a chat while she's getting my coffee! She is a fantastic asset and the reason I love getting my coffee from there.”
“Called in this morning at 7.15am. Had a large Sausage, bacon, mushroom and ketchup. Was absolutely spot on. Sausages weren't those cheapo mushy ones you often get these days, mushrooms were obviously fresh and fried. Portion was plenty big enough and at 16.43 im still here at work having not needed any lunch. Will be sneaking back in on my way to work more regular!”
“Been here quite a few times, sometimes just for coffee, other times had pizza and breakfast, (not at the same time!). Each time the food has been absolutely excellent. I'm not really a pizza fan but these are on a par with ones I've had in Italy. My only gripe, and it doesn't just apply to here, many places do it and I've never understood it, and that is (referring to the English breakfast) why do you cook and provide such great food yet ruin it by supplying the most awful, cheap and nasty brown and red sauce. If it's a cost thing, why not just add 50p to each breakfast and get proper HP Sauce and Heinz Tomato Ketchup? Really, really baffles me!!”
“Love this place, been going since I was a kid, makes the best hot sandwiches.”
“fantastic local sandwich shop, the owners do a great job running the place. always welcome for a chat. food's perfect, you can get it cooked how you like etc, prices are good for what you get if you're a local or stopping by, come try it out”
“I suffer with autism and these girls just made me feel so welcome and comfortable and were completely okay with my weird sand-which order - although their sandwhiches look and smell amazing !! These girls are fabulous and friendly”
“Very friendly and has a feel good vibe. owner is a great guy. Will be returning 100%. Thanks again, Jason Est-Dec”
“Had a wonderful lunch here with my wife earlier today. I had the truffle mushroom on toast and it was delicious. Perfect poached egg too. The service is always really friendly, and the music is always great at Elm - not to mention the coffee! Would recommend this lovely cafe to anyone.”
“We haven't been for a while and it seems to have found it's niche in Nether edge. Really good coffee, great cake and very welcoming atmosphere and staff. It's quieter than others close by which was perfect for me. Update- the cafe has really found it's feet. Everything home made, sour dough based. This morning we sampled a wonderful cinnamon bun.”
“This is a lovely little cafe. We have been a few times, and today, my husband had sausage, chips, egg, and beans, and I had a club sandwich and a piece of Victoria sponge cake. The service is really good and all the staff are really friendly. The menu is full of variety, and there is also a specials board. I would recommend calling off here for lunch or coffe, cake and a natter.”
“The quality of food, service, atmosphere and setting blew us away. Intrigued by the fulsome reviews, and being close to where we were staying, it proved to be a beautiful discovery. The whole enterprise delivers on many levels. It's a learning base with a big heart, a shop for products made in-house, and a relaxed eating area tucked away behind a residential development but overlooking an open field in a rural setting. And the breakfast, it has to be said, was a class act, just like the place itself.”
