“Good shop, good quality for price”

“Absolutely amazing staff, very helpful. Brought in a engagement ring that I brought from castle jewellers up the road. (Would not recommend), Was resized wrong twice, the shank was so thin you could squish it flat and was in disgusting condition. They offered to repair it for a very decent price. Very very impressed with the quality of the repairs done. I would highly recommend this place for resizement and ring repairs.”

“Been in store today as had a problem with my engagement ring was dealt with straight away by a lovely women called Jenny who did an amazing job with her customer service, she spoke to me through the procedure of what was to happen and couldn’t apologise enough and reassured me that it would get sorted. I also came with my mum who can come across abrupt at times and Jenny was always calm. The manager today was also amazing and couldn’t help us enough and made sure I had an answer. I was really upset about Ernest Jones, their product and recent customer service I’d experienced but these two definitely changed that. Thank you for your help and look forward to sorting my ring!”

“I visited the Gold Workshop today to have a ring valued for insurance; I was also able to have a second ring resized at the same time. The lady who dealt with me was simply lovely, she was very professional, efficient and knowledgable. I waited in the shop and both rings, and my valuation certificate were ready after about 40 minutes. Both had been polished and look absolutely beautiful! It was lovely to be able to see the guys working on my precious jewellery while I waited - everywhere else I’d tried wanted to send my rings away to a third party! Prices were exceptionally reasonable too. I can thoroughly recommend this place!”

“The chesterfield store is quite interesting. A great stock of Oris, Longines and Tissot. No Seiko or Citizen etc so for a smaller shop you've got great choices of Swiss brands. They got in a couple of watches within a day from the larger group which is handy. The ladies that work there are really great and helpful. I know they're selling me expensive watches but they get the balance of professionalism and banter right. A quality company. I'm gonna try not to go back but...”

She was so polite, walked around shop helping me look. She put some tops under the jacket to show me what it would look like. She picked somthing out that I would never normally choose myself. “The main supermarket is very good. Loads of parking. Very well stocked, produce is fresh. Plenty of pleasant helpful staff around to help. It is my local store and is well serviced by public transport. Access friendly with house wheelchairs available if required. Children's trolleys to help teach toddlers about shopping(!). All facilities available, Timpsons, café, lottery on the tobacco stall (though can be a busy checkout on lottery days with only 1 assistant. Clean and tidy.”

“One of our favourite places to shop as it has a wealth of large and smaller shops. Plenty of free parking and a bus terminus. Look out for all the various dining places outside as there are plenty to choose from. On two floors with an escalator in the middle with lifts next to it.”

“We purchased an eternity ring for our 40th anniversary to replace my old one which was 39 years old. After 3 weeks a diamond fell out. We had a party for our 40th anniversary and I was quite saddened that I was unable to show my family and friends the new ring. I took the ring in today and felt quite emotional. I was offered a repair or to choose a different ring. I asked for a refund as was concerned that the same might happen again. The refund was dealt with immediately.
