“A fantastic curry. We arrived early on a Thursday, we were the only people there, I did wonder if we had made the right decision. Well I can tell you the food was magnificent, superb flavours well cooked and presented. By the time we had finished the restaurant was packed, not a spare table, for a Thursday night to be this busy it must be good, the locals clearly know this is the curry house to go to. “Lovely, independent tea room and village store. I have walked past it before on my walk from Cannon Hall, had no idea the garden gies on forever. Friendly, helpful staff, great selection on the menu. Had a toasted fruit teacake and the cafetiere coffee was very tasty and had not had that brand before. Lovely garden area and view, very relaxing. Outside selection of outdoor/indoor plants for sale, a vine that loves it's home! At the bottom of the garden a selection of local and non local fruit & veg, the quality was 1st class and great to see where they come from. 1st class customer service, tea room, village store, garden, food and prices. Would highly recommend.”

“Had a delicious meal at Pasha Turkish restaurant in Barnsley yesterday evening. There were 6 of us (aged 22 to 85 years old), and all of us enjoyed our food - it was fresh, cooked to order (e.g. one of us asked for their dish to be made without one of the listed ingredients), deliciously tasty, and good sized portions. Great service - the waitresses were pleasant, attentive, and professional. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, I’ve marked it down to 4 stars as the temperature was a little cooler than most and I was glad I had a cardigan. Although Pasha is on a side street in town, there is plenty of parking (including free parking if you know where to go - I gave the restaurant a ring in advance as I’m from out of town, and they were were very helpful) All in all, from our experience yesterday, this restaurant deserves to be popular.”

“Best place to eat in our area, 3 generations are able to eat here and even my dad likes it (he's a retired 1/2 Hungarian chef, who likes 3 places in the whole of Barnsley) As a disabled single mother, I struggle finding places to eat that I feel comfortable in. But the staff here not only accommodate every odd request my toddler makes but helps me in and out of the cafe with my pushchair This cafe is disability friendly and they are always happy to help if they can”
