“This was my third stay at Millstream Mews, this time in the lovely Fiddlesticks. It's not just comfortable but positively luxurious - and outrageously clean! How Richard manages to keep the properties in such tip-top condition with guests who enjoy all the muddy outdoor activities that the area offers I do not know, but he does, and in a very friendly, efficient and unobtrusive manner. It's not just the accommodation itself that is first class, but also the location. While quietly tucked away and private, you are just a few minutes easy and pleasant walk from the centre of Bakewell itself, which has every amenity you could possibly need for your stay. Bryce clearly wants his guests to have a great time, every time, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.”

“We had a visit to The Boston Arms as we have family in Woodseats. What a brilliant little place! Great beer selection (craft is where it's at!), cosy atmosphere (brilliant for us who are NeuroSpicy) and dog friendly! Absolutely loved it and will be back in again when we can throw the kids at the family for a few hours!”

Good range of quality drinks, and some may say expensive, but for a good pint in my eyes you get the quality for the price, not tried food yet but that will be happening next visit, keep up the good work these and other pubs need to keep open it is our heritage and like all good traditions need to be supported.”

“What an amazing lunch with the boys today. We've had pretty much everything from appetiser to main with the buffet menu. Everything was delicious and freshly made! Service was very attentive and professional, with particular attention to suggestions from the waiters. Definitely recommended!!”

“Wonderful tasty brunch for vegetarian and non vegetarian and vegan. Excellent big portion, make sure you havent eaten earlier and cooked to perfection. Coffee and tea really good and lots of choices Service was brilliant, really polite, helpful and accommodating. Very impressive. Nice atmosphere. Also bought a lovely takeaway banoffee flapjack. “We visited hymn to ninkasi for the first time on Saturday evening. The greeting by the lady attending to the bar was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was good and the place is small it’s very well set out and immaculately clean. The drinks selection is good, my partner had a nice rum from behind the bar and I chose a can from the good selection of craft beers in the glass fridges. I would recommend visiting this place.”

“Aww wow! Go here! We go to bawtry most Sundays, So we decided to explore the surrounding villages, this place was amazing. We rocked up after serving time, and the chef ( lovely lovely guy) came out and showed us the menus, and was more than happy to cook for us. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere was so nice and all the staff were helpful, funny and lovely! We’re going again next week. X”

“EXQUISITE!! My family and I had breakfast with Santa on Saturday and what a lovely time we had. After having Santa breakfasts previously at larger establishments, Borders offered a much cozier and comfortable experience. Santa was amazing, popping in and out throughout our time there. The children loved him and it felt very personal. The staff were wonderful and very organised and to top it off the breakfast was great! Thank you so much for an excellent experience....we will be returning!”
