“Deep fried chicken wing starter would not recommend. Fried till all the chicken gone. Steak was really well cooked fresh. Chips were a bit dry but not the worst. Other than the chicken wings food quite nice. Loads of space to either eat or just hang out and have a pint. Staff friendly promoting a nice welcoming atmosphere. Spacious if visiting with family.”

I think the staff at the Brewers Fayre The Meadows should go and give some training to the staff at the Brewers Fayre the Redwood at Newcastle under Lyme because the difference in quality is unbelievable. And I thought all Brewers Fayre restaurants would be the same. I was wrong”

“Saturday 25th February 2023 We visited this excellent place it has a grand range of real ales on hand pump does a good discount for CAMRA members and its a lovely place to drink beer a must to visit when in Doncaster Saturday 6th September 2025 Today I went to this grand micro pub in Doncaster again great staff grand choice of hand pumped beers on offer. This pub is within the Wool market and it has a marvelous indoor and outdoor drinking areas to drink your real ale in”

We always feel welcome when we walk in and always have the best nights. The music is always good and the atmosphere is unmatched every time. “Visited this pub for a children's Halloween party (organized by the venue) the effort the staff put into the party, which was free, was outstanding. This is a modern pub that attracts all ages. Efficient and friendly bar staff. Very clean toilets, empty glasses on tables cleared regularly.”

“I had the most amazing day at viper today at the 70’s 80’s event. The door staff Kenny was super helpful. Answered every question we had, can’t speak about him highly enough. The staff behind the bar were amazing and shared dances with us. Definitely will come back again.”

“Great place to go! The venue is great, it has a modernistic style with a touch of class. The people that go there are usually friendly, i got a drink knocked out of my hand and they offered to buy me another. The venue has great music, the main room as you enter plays party, chart and cheese music but more emphasis on the part and chart. If party and chart is not your thing they have a R&B room downstairs that is a little bit darker giving it that deeper nightclub feel. The venue probably has the nicest beer gardens I've seen in a 'late night bar'/ nightclub. You'll find the beer garden can get as busy as the rest of the club. Update: The venues is still as good as it ever was, the busiest days tend to be Friday and Saturday”

“Went in to this bar on a Friday evening where we found out they do 2-4-1 cocktails all night so me and my pals took full advantage of that for a few rounds, they also have a ballpit in the venue which we had a cracking laugh in although it’s much thirstier work than I remember as a lad! The staff were great with us having a great chat while making our cocktails, will definitely be back”

“If you come here for luxury you’re coming to the wrong place. BUT: It’s a budget hotel with a bar attached next to a bus and train station. The rooms do what they say on the tin and most staff are excellent. The rooms are clean; the bar is good, the TVs work (mostly), the WiFi isn’t the best but name a hotel that has excellent WiFi. There’s good connections to travel and it’s next to the bustling town of Mansfield (you know that excellent town) It is worth noting that some of the clientele aren’t great and if you’re there for 37 days (like I was) it’s a challenge. But the staff made the stay, and the hotel is not at all that bad. In fact for the price and if your expectations are right it will exceed them all. Thank you for a good stay.”

“A nice little convenience Tesco store, has pretty much everything in it U need but not a massive variety of things. Saying that, I pretty much find everything I need in there. They do tend to have quite a nice selection of bakery items still available around tea time which is a bonus. Service is great and plenty of self service tills. Lots of parking too with an atm outside.”
