“I would like to take the time to say it was mine and jay first time visiting this evening and wow where to start from our first greeting with Alfie we felt so relaxed and was able to sit and order drinks and relax. We were taken to our table the view over looking the lake was breath taking and beautiful. Our server came jay nothing was to much trouble made lovely conversation. The food was absolutely to die for and far to much of it but we were able to take it home. We are both vapers and you trusted us to leave the table to both go outside together which was lovely, Alfie spike to us on return inside as we were looking through the windows of the outside room the new shisha lounge. Alfie took us inside it's beautiful and we have booked a table to come back in November to try it. We had a little mishap with the server who brought our food out who dropped my rice all over the table. But myself and jay laughed and said it was a learning curve for the staff who felt awful, that didn't change our evening which was stunning from start to finish. “I recently attended a presentation, which was hosted here, by Chris Potts about his experiences on HMS Glamorgan during 1982. It was a great evening at a lovely venue such as The Cross Keys is. We were served an absolutely gorgeous buffet half way through the evening which was well received. The staff were all very polite and efficient and at end of the evening it was my pleasure to meet the lovely owners, Tony and Hayley who went out of their way to make this a special evening. From another ex-Glamorgan, I too served on that great ship back in 1982, thankyou I will remember the evening with pleasure you are fine hosts!”

“One of the loveliest Italian places we've been to. Excellent atmosphere, wonderful staff, and great food. Only criticisms would be a personal preference for more 'bread-like' pizza dough (higher protein and water content, minimal oil content), and for proper Kalamata olives as opposed to generic (and otherwise awful) "black olives". Oh, and I just prefer linen to serviettes. But otherwise it's a simply wonderful place, with good-quality ingredients, and we'd be delighted to go back in the near future. Thanks very much.”

“Me and a friend dropped in on Saturday and I was really impressed. I don't write many reviews but we had a good time there. One of the staff called Jess helped me get the rewards app which I didn't even know was a thing, so really happy. Good atmosphere - staff were all smiles. Food is always great at Urban but gotta tip my hat to the salad - cool and fresh just what we needed in 30 degree heat. My new go-to store. Highly recommend.”

It's quieter than others close by which was perfect for me. Update- the cafe has really found it's feet. Everything home made, sour dough based. This morning we sampled a wonderful cinnamon bun.”

“An amazing place to enjoy a beer, glass of wine and beautiful pizza, fries and nibbles. The pizzas are so tasty and the beer and wine selection is really good quality. Love it that Abbeydale Brewery beers are always on at least one tap, a very local brewery, they are a few hundred metres across the road. As well as amazing food, the service is so good. Tonight, one of the team checked with the table next to us on their order as they are regulars and one of the ingredients sounded different to the normal order. They were right! Great attention to detail and care. We have been coming here for years and realised we have not reviewed it. Should have done ages ago. Also, out of 40 odd visits they would all be 5 stars. Thanks Gary and team for a brilliant neighbourhood restaurant. Last point! If you order for delivery it's still great!”

“Best fish n chip shop in worksop. Used them a number of times, also eaten from the others a number of times so i feel i can make a fair comparison. Ordered on a friday night at 7pm, i was expecting a long delivery time because of this. It arrived in 30 mins, which is a good time for friday fish n chips. Chips are good, not greasy. Haddock is nice, flaky fish, crispy batter. Its always the same every time i order, consistency is there. Very good value for money, i didnt even plate up all of the chips(regular size). I have a big appetite and think a small may suffice. Could easily share a regular between two people.”

“This is a lovely little cafe. We have been a few times, and today, my husband had sausage, chips, egg, and beans, and I had a club sandwich and a piece of Victoria sponge cake. The service is really good and all the staff are really friendly. The menu is full of variety, and there is also a specials board. I would recommend calling off here for lunch or coffe, cake and a natter.”

“Such lovely staff serve up the food and drinks at Buttylicious. You can eat inside or sit outside using one of the new tables and benches available. Full cooked breakfasts are available, and vegetarian breakfasts are also advertised. However, the vegetarian option doesn't include vegetarian sausage or bacon. The breakfast consists of hash browns, egg, beans or tomatoes. There is a good range of hot & cold sandwiches available. I can definitely say that the chip buttys are really tasty. Excellent chips, best we have tasted for a long time. To top it all off, if you still have room, there is a really good range of cakes that taste as good as they look. Over the months, we have never been disappointed with them and have resorted to buying them to take home too...... Hope you all enjoy your food”

“Pleasant, independent Italian coffee shop and restaurant. You can order pizza or pasta (homemade with local ingredients) alongside a coffee for less than the cost of a shipped-in panini at other places. Also do a variety of salads and sandwiches.”

“I thought I'd stop giving my money to those pesky American chains and try a local pizza by local people. Boy they did not disappoint! Ingredients quality is much higher and our pizzas had this beautiful char from what I assume is a wood fired oven. Piecewise it's about the same as a D*****'s and delivery was exactly on time so it's a no brainer, this place is my official new pizza provider. I can't wait to try the calzones!”

Our dogs are always made super welcome and are often spoilt with a little treat. Great place. Lisa made me a vegan birthday cake last week and it was so good no one realised it was plant based!
