“Our first time visiting fusion noodle. The restaurant was really neat, clean and welcoming. The menu had a lovely range of food. We chose noodle dishes with three other dishes that we shared. The food was delicious. Service was great and the food arrived hot and we didn’t wait long for it. The BBQ ribs blew all the ribs I’ve had before out of the water, seriously great. This is the meal I will remember for a long time, I can’t wait to go back.”

“First time here, and its tucked away on one of the backstreets which is quite nice actually. A group of 8 of us walked in and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. I was impressed with the food, the service was initially slow but sped up shortly after. Overall a nice meal and would go back! This restaurant allows you to charge your phone whilst at the table with a portable power bank from in house. That's quite unique and its the first restaurant i have been too which does this. Well done to Smugglers for introducing that.”

“This is the best chippy in Southampton. They are so friendly and its always so clean in there. We are right next door and as soon as we smell it we cant resist it and the whole team ends up having chips for lunch!”

“Excellent dinner and first class service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We especially enjoyed the jackfruit filo pastry parcel. The beer battered cod had a super crispy batter with homemade chips and crushed peas would definitely return to have this again. The presentation was very good. Recommend booking.”

We had a couple of the sides which were delicious and the sharing platter, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the lamb chops were the best we've ever tasted!! “Suuuuper tasty food at good value. This is Honestly the best pad thai in southampton and i have tried them all. The panang and massaman curries are killer as well - Obviously use very high quality or homemade curry pastes. Also friendly staff and owner, had pleasant conversation with the owner whilst i waited to collect the food and felt like we were friends by the end! nothing bad to be said really.”

“Very friendly man running the restaurant and cooking the food, very courteous and apologetic for a slight wait… we didn’t wait long at all and he had only just opened! We both went for Bento Box 2 which included: Rice, Bulgogi Beef or Chilli Pork (I had pork my husband had beef), 2 Tempura Prawns, 2 Fried Dumplings, 2 Spring Rolls, 2 Chicken Skewers and a portion of chilli chicken balls each. The food arrived nicely presented and looked great… it tasted fab! Everything was so full of flavour, cooked wonderfully and the meat was nice and tender. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and were so full afterwards. All for a really good price too! Rice Bar Totoro is on our list of places to return to soon, we want to try the rest of the great looking menu!”

“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”

“A warm welcome on a cold and wet day. Started with a lovely bottle of delicious Zinfandel wine. The food that followed was divine! The best Chowder I’ve ever had, (better than Boston USA). Sandwiches are lovely too, with pre seasoned fries, scrumptious. My partner’s pulled Beef bourguignon starter and pizza were lovely. Portion sizes are generous. the prices very reasonable. Great selection of food on the menu. Bonus, loving the playlist background music. Lots of free parking, as per signage, you simply need to give your car registration. Lots of outside seating too, (for warmer days). Toilets very clean. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend!”

“Seashells is a real favourite. We booked view of the pier and shore for 6 adults. The specials were impressive. Great staff, well trained and attentive. The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.”

“Dashed in today for impromptu lunch, friendly welcoming staff and excellent food as usual. I had the lunch offer (12-3pm) which is great value at £12.95 for 2 courses. I had sesame prawn toast with a sweet chilli sauce to start and then a red Thai curry with rice. Both hot, freshly prepared and delicious. Glass of blush large only £7.50! “Just had a great Sunday lunch cooked by Chef Luke. Friendly service from Sam. Roast lamb was great and my wife had a half a roast chicken which she failed to finish - just due to the volume - and to ensure she could fit in some dessert. Cracking crumble and excellent bread and butter pudding with homemade vanilla custard. Great way to end a weekend away. Hoping to book the place for a birthday party next year...”

“Lovely evening at Tim's Bistro, the food was very fresh and was a delight to have a wide selection of fish dishes to choose from. The monkfish wrapped in Parma ham was delicious and the mussels were tasty too. They need to sort out their booking system, we reserved a table two weeks in advance but seemed to not have our details on record but squeezed us in on a table at the back. We overheard the chef swearing in the kitchen, sounded peeved that everyone who had sat down for a 7pm booking all had their orders submitted at once and had to turn out all the meals in one blast. Definitely be back for the food, but do sort out your online booking system.”
