“I came for the bottomless brunch. Harri the bartender was great and made sure we always had cocktails ready to drink, there was a lovely lady called Lisa serving us. Honestly service here has always been great. I prefer the general menu to the bottomless brunch menu but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all!”

“Wonderful staff and the usual patronage / regulars are all incredibly welcoming and full of humor. Not one macro brewery to be found. All local-ish microbrews from really incredible breweries. When I return to England, even if I'm staying far from Kemptown I'm definitely popping by Hand In Hand again. Amazing!!!”

“I'm from Coulsdon and I have to say my family travel the 45 min drive to Shoreham fish bar on a weekly basis , Simply because the fish and chips are the best, there's probably 5/6 chip shops with in a 10 min drive from Coulsdon however they do not come anywhere close to what you get from Shoreham”

“For those who remember the previous incarnation....the food is as tasty. Emphasis is on rich flavours and not simply heat and spice. The service is relaxed and attentive, the vibe is more buzzy and the menu seems to have a little wider choice. Great to have a first rate restaurant back in our village.”

“We chose Oeuf for brunch based on its great reputation, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The cafe has a beautiful, inviting atmosphere and the decorations are a nice touch. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive, and the brunch itself was absolutely delicious. The green smoothie was a definite highlight. If you want a more relaxed experience, I'd suggest booking your visit for after 1:30 PM to avoid the busiest rush.”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “Although we didn’t have sushi, this place is a gem and a delight, it was recommended by a friend at work and I can say it’s highly recommended by me. I had udon noodles and pork with prawn rolls. Service was five star with friendly and knowledgeable staff it’s a warm and inviting atmosphere and just on the right side of cozy. I drove all the way from Croydon although I was generally in the area but would drive back there for more of the delicious udon noodles and to try some of the super looking sushi. Book up if you can the service was quick and with a smile always makes things better.”

“Hands down my favourite takeaway. The vegan range is absolutely brilliant and all delicious. I think I am addicted to the vegan yasai fried rice! My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. So much so, I have just ordered one for her to take up there with me tomorrow!”

“I was greeted by a familiar, cozy environment and friendly staff. My order was the #2 Tokyo Tonkotsu, a serving of edamame, and the melon ramune. The rich, savoury black garlic oil blended perfectly with the hearty broth and created a homely bowl topped only by Japan itself. Overall 5 stars, would come again.”

“Been living in Brighton 7 years and this is by far the best fish and chips we have had. Everything we have had is delicious. We don’t live that close and the delivery is always hot and as quick as they can. Generous portion sizes too and a varied menu for a fish and chip shop.”

“Hands down the best Bulgarian meal I’ve had outside of Bulgaria. Went to Donchevi Kitchen & Bar today with my other half for lunch. As I’m from Bulgaria, I always wanted to share my cuisine but previous attempt have not been successful due to lack of quality original Bulgarian ingredients or chef abilities. This restaurant on the other hand tasted like home. We had kufteta, shopska salad, mousakka, parlenka and chips with Bulgarian cheese. Everything was not only authentic but also delicious. I loved it so much I had to ask for takeaway bag to take some home. I definitely recommend the restaurant to both Bulgarians and to everyone keen to try something different which they will enjoy. My partner is a bit picky with their food as they are British and tend to go with Italian food or British but they loved it too.”

“What a hidden gem that you now need to visit! The most beautiful tapas restaurant in Hove, designed so stylishly and serving pretty amazing tapas with a twist on your more traditional dishes! A huge selection of wines, local Spanish beers and great sangria, and really friendly waiting staff, too. Spent a really enjoyable couple of hours here and cannot wait to return again soon :)”

“Had lunch with my young family and had the Sunday burgers. There was good selection of burgers too cater for the stuff tastes and on Sunday they have a £10 offer. The cabin fries are also a must try. Would happily go again and enjoy their beer garden”

“First visit to this restaurant. We went for a family dinner. Turned up without reservations but we were welcomed and seated. We ordered mixed chicken sharing kebab. It was delicious and very tasty. Service is fast could be more smiley and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. It’s priced reasonably. Inside is modern, clean and interior is airy. It has a nice small outside area.”

“Stopped by this place while venturing around ‘The Lanes’ with my partner and a friend and what an amazing find (even worth a visit for the coffee alone!) The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and really made our morning. We only stopped for coffee but decided to stay for breakfast after looking at the menus, our friend opted for the Islas Breakfast which looked amazing (lovely bit of sausage), my partner went for the No Meat Breakfast; both would have given me food envy had my Hash not been so tasty! The food arrived quickly and nothing was too much to ask of the staff. Definitely a little gem and we will definitely be returning!”
