“Sitting in conservatory, was very comfortable. We just had cappuccino and cake then later pot of tea and chocolate tiffin. It was very nice. Staff were excellent, carrying a tray of tea/cake for me and clearing table when needed.”

“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”

“A nice place for a night out in the city centre. It’s a chain restaurant offering a wide range of Italian-style dishes, with generous vouchers to help offset the bill. I recently had a pleasant dining experience there, and our server, Ewalina, was very friendly and provided excellent service.”

“So this is my favourite spot in Hampshire for a spicy chicken fillet burger. The fillet itself is huge compared to the bun so you always feel like you’ve got enough chicken to bread ratio. But my partner loves grilled chicken and she used only ever go Nando’s. But now Texas grill is her new favourite and she will only ever have grilled chicken from here”

“Great atmosphere & an amazing range of latin inspired cocktails & shots, live music, & plenty of seating downstairs. Didn't make it upstairs other than to use the bathrooms. Happy hour on a Friday night was fun! Not cheap & cheerful like some other places, I suppose this is a reflection of how expensive everything is. Friendly service, long waits at the bar during busy periods.”

And honestly I don’t think I ever saw such a hard working team, the team work was incredible, they were working so quickly and efficiently. Yet they had a laugh which is so important in a work place. “Haydown Kitchens are fantastic. The service, the quality, the time spent on designs and advice, the problem solving, the finish of the kitchen; everything has been wonderful. Chris and Lis are the reason for this, I was unsure about what I wanted, and also what the space allowed for and they were great at giving me recommendations and guidance for what would bring the space to life and use it in the best way possible. The design stage was fun, a real experience. The showroom houses a huge variety of options and gives you great ability to choose by seeing the options without it being overwhelming. The delivery was made by Chris himself and was simple, effective and smooth. My kitchen fitter said it was one of the best, and simple kitchen’s he’s ever had to put together; having done a lot of Howden’s and Wren in the past. Couldn’t recommend Haydown more - I am so happy with my new space and am loving being in it every day.”

“We took my daughter to this shop for her prom dress from Salisbury as we have nothing like it. My daughter was nervous but it was a fantastic experience for her from beginning to end. She truly loved all the dresses she tried on and Hannah was absolutely brilliant with her, offering honest advice when asked. In the end she actually opted for a reduced dress and we could not believe that Hannah phoned a local (brilliant) seamstress to see if she could do a quick alteration to save us going back to Southampton. We highly recommend this shop.”
