“Dog friendly pub in Hamble. Friendly bar staff and a good selection of food. Lunch menu served until 4 pm. I think food service continues after this. Dogs allowed on ground floor. The main bar area is old stone, handy if your dog has a wee. Our two puppies didn't, I'm pleased to say. Left end of the bar is a carpeted area with tables and fire place if you like it a bit more cozy. There's an upstairs area and a covered outside area with lots of bench tables. Prices were very reasonable.”

“My third visit here in 7 years. I ordered the soup was was told it would be a 35 minute wait. The member of staff saw my disappointment and offered me a complimentary drink because I didn't have enough time to complete my stay. I was very impressed with the service and mulled wine.”

“A beautiful building located at the side of South Western Hotel & next to the old railway station that is now a casino. We visited for a wedding & the large room was indeed grand! Beautiful decor with chandeliers.”

“Seashells is a real favourite. We booked view of the pier and shore for 6 adults. The specials were impressive. Great staff, well trained and attentive. The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.”

“Wow! Iv ordered From here before but ordered the Bassit special meal this evening and whole family is very impressed . There is sooo much food! 2 medium pizzas, fluffy soft dough and they don’t skimp on the topping and tasted great. 2 medium kebabs great size and salad was fresh and you get loads, we haven’t even touched the box of chicken and chicken wing s yet or the garlic bread . Came with a bottle of Full fat coke which makes a nice change from the diet crap most takeeay places give you for free. It looks like we have a a new favourite takeaway . Thank you!”

“We visited the Bournemouth branch. Being a vegetarian we were quite impressed with the wonderful randevu or vegetarian options in authentic Thai taste. I had the best Pad Thai noodles I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is always crowded but has a great seating space and very close to the beach. Love the location and the quality and quantity of food it served. A must go if u are visiting Bournemouth.”

“Some of the best food I've eaten at a Restaurant. Give this place a Michelin star already! Incredibly tasty Scallops, Seafood curry and a 'Winchester Pudding' which was a lovely local touch and paired perfectly with the accompanying clotted cream. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth every penny. Special mention goes out to Ali Ali, our excellent waiter.”

“The fish was freshly cooked. They tell you where the fish comes from, and what kind of potatoes have made your chips. The food itself was really good. The chips could have been a little bit more crisp, but maybe that's down to the variety! The service was absolutely excellent and prompt with a good estimation of how long it would take to cook it fresh. I would absolutely have another meal from this place. The batter is crispy. The food is fresh. What more could you want and it's all served with a smile. Do expect to pay for sauces which is completely fair. So order that with your meal if you need or want some”

I opted for the roast lamb, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and accompanied by the most delicious gravy. “Fantastic! My husband and I ate here Saturday night and went back today for a Sunday roast. We both had the skate Saturday which was the best I’ve ever had. Really large portions and cooked to perfection. The beef roast today was also fantastic. Huge portion again and really delicious. Staff were really friendly, taking time to chat with people and made to feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend.”

“Had table for 10 last night for our mum's surprise 80th birthday. No pre order was required so everyone could choose on the night. Choice of normal or some Xmas options. The service was second to none. All drinks brought to table. Sean who looked after us was absolutely fantastic, a joy to have serving us. Made for a fun night and stepped in to take photos of the family. All the food was brought out in a good time, all hot, nothing was forgotten. Clearing service also seamless so a shout out to the young lady who was serving and clearing dishes. We all agreed it was a wonderful evening, lovely clean setting and I'd recommend to anyone. Thank you all at the white rabbit for making mum's 80th special.”

“Really attentive and kind waitress and chef. Came here with three generations of family, old and young, and the hot pot experience managed to captivate them all. At home we were more used to a shared pot so the individual pot was novel and fun. A really clean restaurant with many free sauce and condiments to choose from. The food selection on the conveyor belt and to order was fresh and varied. The meat arrived on plates as cargo on a train on the second level of the conveyor belt. Was a super fun and cute way of delivering food that delighted the whole family! Dessert fruit and ice cream was also a touch. Definitely recommend and will come back here next time I’m in the city! ✨”
