“The best and most efficient Surgery that I have ever used. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. The Surgery is clean and it has an number of different treatments on offer as well as numerous Doctors to choose from. The booking in system is efficient and you have to wear a mask whilst on the premises. There are some pre-bookable appointments and you can also call from 08:00 hrs to try and get an appointment on the day. Unfortunately the 8am call is next to impossible to get through on. You can be number 27 in the queue by the time the phone system has given out all the information and advice that it has to do. Usually it's not worth calling because the system doesn't prioritise the calls. Everyone who's calling wants an appointment which can be very very stressful and difficult to get. All of the staff are very well presented and excellent quality of service at all times. Sometimes a doctor may over run, I would rather wait, the person obviously has a problem that is very difficult or distressing for them and they may need that few extra minutes to get the right help. It will state whether or not your doctor is running on time or not. I have nothing but positive feedback to give, especially as I have needed extra help in the past and it definitely made all the difference to me. I didn't feel like I was just another patient but a person. They definitely have and continue to give a superb, effective and efficient service in these challenging times. I would definitely recommend this Surgery to anyone who lives local. They do lot's of other services including blood tests and blood pressure tests. Diabetic clinic and many more. It has been less crowded since Covid because you can have a phone consultation or a face to face appointment depending on what you are suffer from. I can honestly say that this Surgery and the doctors that I've seen have literally saved my life and I continue to get regular support from my GP.”

I've had brilliant mental health nurses over the past year, and an amazing therapist for the past 20 weeks. I'm now on a much better path and honestly couldn't be more thankful. I know the reviews on here aren't great but I think they're personally outdated, and AH is now a lot better and has a lovely team.”

“My contact and interactions with this service has been helpful, positive and ultimately supportive to my situation. I was on a waiting list for some time, which was difficult, however, I do appreciate that accessing a free service such as this, is likely to be hugely over subscribed. The care and attention I have received thus far really has been markedly beneficial towards my ongoing mental health challenges. Sarah and Elaina have been working with me (and continue to) support, listen, reflect, asking questions, empowering me to find the answers, find my way, through an intensely difficult period of my life. Their conduct is professional, punctual, reliable. I know that they will contact me precisely when arranged, and that any additional information discussed is provided straight after a call. Both Sarah and Elaina exude a genuine vibe of care, compassion and interest towards me. Currently they are both helping/supporting me in two different areas. Their support is so valued. I have so much gratitude towards them both. If you find yourself on a (long) waiting list, particularly when you’re feeling that you really want some help, It can feel so hard. “Well, I've had my share of fallouts with this practice. I've had extremely rude receptionists talk rubbish, with total conviction, and experienced the rudeness of one of the receptionists. I would say however, from a patient viewpoint, in the last year or so things have immeasurably improved. There seem to be more Doctor appointments available, the reception team is a lot happier, and more helpful, and generally things seem to be working much better. Re the dash to phones in the morning; I can only say I've used this twice in the last year, and I've had a callback inside an hour, and in one case, an appointment later that day. Even the doctors seem happier. The GP who looks after me is always cheerful, seems pleased to see me (she must be actor in her spare time) and listens to what I'm trying to explain. So, no problems, no issues.”
