And honestly I don’t think I ever saw such a hard working team, the team work was incredible, they were working so quickly and efficiently. Yet they had a laugh which is so important in a work place. “I had planned a day trip to Southampton and was researching for ages on where to get food, I was torn between herbies pizza and another Chinese takeaway, I’m glad I chose herbies! The pizza was only 9.99 for a large (a deal for collection) so my expectations weren’t super high but I was impressed! Personally I don’t like a super crunchy crust and their crust was soft with the perfect amount of crunch and tasted amazing! The pizza took around 15 mins to cook which is understandable as it’s cooked fresh. It wasn’t too greasy and came with a garlic and herb dip. The guy at the counter was lovely too. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Southampton!”

“What a fabulous restaurant. We were on holiday in the village and ate here twice in the week, on both occasions the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. They have a great menu and the food is prepared to a very high standard. The servers/owners were professional and friendly and really mad our visits a joy. You get the impression it's a family run business with a lot of thought & care put into it. Ray's Italian Kitchen is definitely worth a visit - you certainly won't be disappointed. Am I the first person to have their Aperol Trifle twice in four days? I think I might be.”

“We recently celebrated a lifetime event in the new forest and wanted to find somewhere last minute to celebrate. The team at Albero were fantastic, I contacted them and they surprised us upon arrival. The service was very friendly and all the food was superb, there was a very nice atmosphere in the evening and we couldn't recommend the restaurant anymore.”

“We dropped in for coffee and stayed for lunch! Our first visit to this lovely cafe but it definitely won't be our last. We arrived just as the morning rush was finishing so we had a choice of tables, our food was cooked fresh (but even so, with minimal delay) and was just how we like it. Excellent to see a good range of healthy options as well as the standard cafe fare, and the prices are reasonable, especially for a prime location. The picture shows my Eggs Royale - the portion size is two of these but I'd eaten one before I remembered to take a picture!”

“This is a diamond hiding in plain sight! A perfect cozy and comfortable restaurant. Food is just right with lots of flavour and variety. Staff are welcoming and friendly with right right amount of interaction and interest. I've eaten here a few times now and have not been disappointed. Outdoor, covered eating space or roomy warm interior. Many drink options to choose from ales, cocktails, spirits and wine. For a privately owned and run local restaurant this is somewhere I would always recommend and when possible (as not local) eat at.”
