“À great local theatre owned and run by volunteers to a professional level. I've been many times to watch theatre, not interested in tribute bands etc, and the standard is always to the highest level. Really interesting range of productions on both the main stage and the Green Room stage. Good bar upstairs and down and not too bad on the prices, ice creams for the interval, drinks can be taken into the auditorium in plastic glasses. Everybody working here volunteers from the bar staff to the actors which is amazing, the standard throughout is very professional. If you live locally or you are having a trip to this wonderful market town take time to watch one of the many shows a year, one a month and more to see if you like tribune bands, something for everyone.”

“I love this little theatre in Winchester, always a high standard and a wonderful venue. They serve tea/coffee (with a free biscuit) wine, beer, cider, might be more but that's what I noticed. Thankfully they don't sell sweets so no annoying packets through a show. Not any one seat in the auditorium that doesn't have a great view, not the most leg room (not the worst either) and can get a little uncomfortable after an hour, so an interval is welcome. You can pre order interval drinks and tasty ice cream, I would advise doing this. No plastic glasses here, I'm an adult so it's nice to drink out of a proper glass when I'm out, and they do allow them into the auditorium too so no need to drink up fast. Toilet's are good, normal issues with queues but hey that's the world over. Run by volunteers with a very professional attitude.”

“A very different drama but really fun. The theatre is having quite a lot of refurbishments but the seating was comfortable and the bar had plenty of seating. For the evening at least there was plenty of parking. I also noticed that they had a separate party area which looked big enough for around 50+ which was bright and airy”

“Our daughter has really thrived at Swish and it's great outlet for the all the built up energy she has . Zara has just completed her first theatre show and she was supported all the way to deal with any stage nerves and thoroughly enjoyed herself . We are looking forward to continuing our journey with Swish !”

    The Grange at Northington

“Awesome architecture & loads of history behind the Northington Grange. If you're in the area it's definitely worth the visit, we walked around the outside close to the building & then again on the grass away from the building to admire all the architectural work. Heaps of room for a picnic and room to play soccer and other games. The building is starting to deteriorate & needs some needs good upkeep & definitely a pressure washer and this place will be better than ever. Signs around the property with information about the history about the Northington Grange, who the owners where, architectures etc. The most annoying thing is the drive from the main road to the property, there are heaps of potholes along the dirt road. “Wonderful time here. My kids aged 10 and 8 absolutely loved it. So much to look at and get stuck into. They particularly liked the space section downstairs. The show is worth the extra £4 . Exciting and educational for everyone and has the wow factor. Car park is free which is really good, felt the tickets were a little on the high side but still enjoyed the experience and would visit again”

“Booked tickets to see Josh Widdecombe at the Pavilion. Between buying them and the night of seeing Josh I’d had an accident which made going upstairs to our seats quite unachievable. Spoke to the lovely Katherine there and she managed to put us in seats on ground level. Amazing night and I met Josh so my year of pain was well worth it especially as I came so close to not going.”
